Intuitive and Considered
This is the most intuitive and well-thought-out banking app I’ve ever used. The 2Up interface is great, the shared savers are a really good idea and easy to use, and additional features like nominating someone to allow you faster access to unlocking your savers, are all indicators that this app is made by people who understand that life throws different situations at you. Banking shouldn’t be complicated - Up isn’t.

Won’t even let me sign in
I entered my drivers license info exactly right and retired it 5 times and still says they need more verification when that’s my only verification as I don’t have a passport. Stupid silly app waste of time. Don’t make a app if you can’t let someone make an account
Love Up!
I’ve been using Up for 4 years now and also got my daughter on to Up. What I love about Up (apart from everything) is the way I can create Savers and therefore keep better track of my expenses. I created an Essentials account this year which has made covering my “essential” expenses so much easier. And my favourite feature is Round Up. Over the last 3 years I’ve been able to save enough money for a luxury holiday just through Round Ups - Great Feature!

Poor customer service and app
Recently refinanced to UP and trying to get large transfers to UP is borderline impossible as they aren’t part of rtgs and blocked our cheque for essentially unknown reasons. Forced to do the transfer over standard transfers over multiple days has ended up costing us hundreds in interest. Also if you need help quickly, forget about it, their chat only customer service is insanely slow and poorly made, there’s 0 feedback on your queue or wait time and you just have to hope and pray. We were just standing there trying to deposit our cheque and tried to enquire why it was blocked and found out it was because of potential fraud security hours later when we needed confirmation right away. They also try to obscure any fees you need to pay for valuations if you’re thinking of getting a home loan with them. They cover up to $400 of the valuation but don’t tell you or get consent for doing a valuation that costs more and only take the funds at settlement so you have to read your loan offer documents very carefully. It’s not detailed in the disbursement section but the finer print on page 4 of the potential fees section. Overall incredibly poor service and the app is having intermittent issues in receiving funds with 0 explanation. I would strongly encourage you to find alternate banking options if possible especially if you do require any level of customer service. For the most basic of loans it may be okay but there are cheaper options out there as well. I signed up for the feature of individual accounts being offset accounts for joint loans which in hindsight was not worth the trouble.

Do not bank with this bank. I got my account shut down for suspicious activity which was payments to my landlord that I have done once a week for 3 years.

cool app but poor interest rates
I like how the app is gamified, but i don’t like how you’re penalised for money out of ur saving. currently (5.35% down to 2%)
