Data waster mode not available on app

US Mobile used to be a great service but they are slowly turning into a sleazy company which doesn’t respect their users.

They are forcing users to turn on a setting once a month to use all the data purchased. This itself is a very poor decision. This setting is not available in the app. What is the point of having this app if I can’t do the one thing I need to do?

Review of app, not service

This is a review of the US Mobile app, not the service. I don’t think service reviews belong here.

The app is slowly improving but still needs work. On the Home Screen the GB remaining in the pool doesn’t update correctly. It only updates once you select the pool and even then takes a minute.

You can’t customize the Home Screen so now it’s full if Starlink ads, which I just have to ignore. But as long as I can see how much data I have left, even if I have to dig a little bit for it, it’s serving a very basic need. I’ll never expect it to work like a primary carrier app.

App crashes when viewing pool data

With this recent version whenever I try to view my data pool of one of my phones lines it crashes 100% the time. Have tried to forced restart as well as logout.

Great experience!

After putting off switching carriers for years, finally made the jump. Small porting issue was fixed quickly and transfer was done. Europe travel was perfect. No crazy daily charge and no added eSIM! Saving a ridiculous amount of money!

Their app works well and you can chat with support in the app—no forced social media—and all conversation history is saved. All support is 24 hours including phone support.

I love how I can manage everything in the app and view insightful usage analytics. I’ve never experienced an issue using the app for any of our family multiple lines, phones, and watches.

Ads for Scam Companies

The entire main page of the app is an ad for a referral deal for a company I find repugnant with no way to disable or hide it.

Best Customer Service so far

Recently ported to US mobile and already amazed by Teleport feature where you can teleport to any of the 3 major networks (ATT, TMobile, Verizon). Also Kudos and thanks to FixitMir for being a great rep and making an exception for me to accomodate the $299/year Unlimited Premium deal.

Regressed Apple Sign In

They regressed the Sign in with Apple on iOS and iPad apps months ago and it seems like nobody cares. It’s really annoying and wrong to have to type in my iCloud password into their app.

Terrible service

Lucky if I have 1 bar, they switched my network and now its even worse. Looking for another provider.

Apple sign in broken

Apple sign in is broken and also asks for Apple username and password within an app controlled screen. Seems totally insecure and misleading

Very reliable and always has service no matter where I am located especially even in dead zone areas

I have had an outstanding experience with US Mobile, and I truly cannot say enough positive things about both their service and customer support. Every time I have reached out with questions or concerns, I have been provided with fast, professional, and respectful customer service. The representatives always take the time to explain everything clearly, help me understand the issue I am experiencing, and make sure the problem is resolved in a timely manner.

In my personal experience, US Mobile has been one of the most reliable phone service providers I have ever used. I have previously used other major carriers such as Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T, and I often experienced issues with coverage and dead zones. Can’t Sign in with Apple anymore

Previously this app was great but the last 2 updates have rendered it useless. I can no longer “sign in with Apple”. When I try it asks for my phone number or email, then a password. There is no password when using “sign in with Apple”. This means I can no longer sign in at all. It works fine using the website in Safari and has always worked fine until recently. I tried to create a passkey on the website as a workaround but it asks for a password too. Please fix this.

Subpar UI with bugs

The UI is a little goofy, there is a lot of redundant information. When switching networks, and setting up via esim, things can get out of whack with the app. For example, I currently have my number set up on my phone, but the app still says “install eSIM now”, which just results in an error. So I can’t see any of my line information at the moment
