Battery Percentage and Range issues on ride recordings
I’ve had my
VanMoof for a few months now and the app really feels like an afterthought compared to
the amount of tech that has been put into this bike. For one, the used battery percentage shown for your past rides never add up to what you’ve alctually used. For instance if I’ve used 50% of my battery in two rides (from full) in most cases the app records a 15% usage per ride. Also, VanMoof really lacks of a smart battery optimisation system software to charge to 80% to preserve the battery etc…

Clunky, Glitchy & Frustrating.
Not enjoying this at all. The erratic nature of the “Range” is quite the spectacle, from 38 miles to 28 miles in a mile & a half, down to 18 miles after a 4 mile work trip. The app will adjust slightly once the bike rests but is this just the life of anyone that owns an electric vehicle? Car or otherwise? You have to give it your best guess “because it’s a battery” & the app cannot keep up with its irregularities. Or can Vanmoof improve the experience?
The constant reminder asking me to “Set up Apple Find My” every time I turn on the app is annoying. If I dismiss it, can the app not understand that I don’t want to use it?
Notifications (if at all) arrive a day or two after.
Can we either improve the map/GPS so it’s functional or just get rid of it?
It could be I expect too much. Paying a lot of money for the Vanmoof experience I thought would ensure a quality app but sadly I’m left wishing I had taken other options at this time. I hope you find the feedback constructive & that we can move forward. Best…

Maateenheid aanpassen?
Top app, alleen vind ik het lastig dat mijl wordt gebruikt als maateenheid en niet kilometer. Is er een optie om dit aan te passen?
バッテリー残量の表示がおかしい
表題の通り、アプリ上のバッテリー残高と自転車側で確認できる残高の数値がおかしい。
アプリ上のバッテリー残高数値が変動しなくなった。

Nach anfänglichen Problemen mit dem eShifter läuft mein S3 seit einigen tausend Kilometern völlig fehlerfrei. Ich hoffe das bleibt trotz dem aktuellen Insolvenzverfahren auch weiterhin möglichst lange so 🤘🏻 Ich Fahrrad ist einfach toll, zur Not eben mit ner anderen App, aber vielleicht findet sich ja ein Käufer. Alles Gute ans Team
Update 2025: Das S3 läuft nach wie vor fast fehlerfrei von Frühjahr bis Spätherbst im fast täglichen Einsatz. Der Boost-Knopf reagiert mittlerweile etwas zäh, da scheint die Mechanik im Knopf so langsam aufzugeben, aber sonst gibt‘s nicht‘s zu bemängeln.
