This update is horrible
Terrible new layout
Caution beware
Had more hacked charges on Venmo than a dozen other cards combined just in a year. Multiple times I’ve had to shut card off. Empty my Account or what’s left of it and Replace it. At least six cards this year alone. Not a safe haven for your money.
Not working
Awful. I don’t know what changed, but it is not working. I used this for several years. I’m verified. I cannot send money to anyone! I’ve tried 4 different people, different amounts, over 2 days. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. I’ve unlinked and relinked my bank. I’ve also done the same with AmEx. Nothing!
Calling was worthless. Someone overseas, thick accent, only help was to retry everything, I had just done. That’s all they could do, she said . Day 3 and it’s still not working.

Poor customer service
Very poor customer service. No one actually answers the phone - all AI or chat bot. No email address listed anywhere to contact Venmo. Extremely unhappy with app. Seems great until you have a problem or question.
Serious Garbage
Cash App is exponentially more functional, useful, AND STILL more secure than this useless dysfunctional trash you call a payment platform. Seriously just take this embarrassment off the marketplace

Venmo made their UI worse on purpose. Happens every time.
Not working
Since I’ve downloaded this app I have had no success. I’ve gone through the steps MULTIPLE TIMES and I get the confirmation emails that my bank has been added, but at the same time I’m getting error messages about not being able to add my bank.

Freezes funds for the dumbest reasons
No help with my locked account
I’ve had my account locked for no reason. I have no transactions on my account. I noticed my last name on my account isn’t fully written out so I can’t link my bank account. I’ve tried calling,chatting with the virtual assistant, emailing and there’s no help. I can’t even delete my account. What am i supposed to do? I just need a human representative and I’m sure they’d be able to fix it but there’s no way to get in contact with one. Incredibly frustrating

Redesigned
Absolutely ridiculous redesign. We’re just going to search for the people we need to pay anyway it didnt need to be set up like a google socials page. The old design was simpler and easier to understand.

Hold your money
I really thought Venmo was for money to be sent right away and you got it right away and I have some money coming and now I don’t get it till Monday so you might as well use a banker and if it’s that concern instead of Venmo to send it right away
