Shocking app
It’s 2026 and this app belongs in 2016. Not user friendly at all. Very clunky to use. Fire your software engineers and use AI to build something better in an hour. I use My2N at our other property which is much easier to use. I’ve had your app for 3 years now and no improvement whatsoever. 😡😡

Hi, I’ve had Came intercom for approx 3years now however from the day it was fitted I’ve had continuous problems with the app. There was a time it would work for weeks without a glitch but now it’s virtually every day.
I’ve tried calling the helpline at Came however because I’m an end user then they will only help me so far. I’ve called the installer out on numerous occasions at a cost which is now unpalatable for him to only delete and reinstall the app which I now do myself. 9 times out of 10 it works immediately however later on that day or the next it glitches again and doesn’t allow me to open my gates remotely.
At times I can click on the camera and see through my Came Intercom Camera and then there’s times when I can’t but if I press the Gate release then it opens the gate. There’s also times (mostly) when there’s no action at all. Very disappointing and inconvenient. At this moment I could never recommend Came to anyone!
Is there a helpline for the end user or a newer app that’s available?

Useless
I’ve owned this for 4 yrs and its gets worse as it ages. Unfortunately it’s tied to the hardware and expensive to replace. Avoid

Scandalosi
Le funzionalità smart del loro video citofono sono quasi del tutto inutili. Per aprire un cancello automatico bisogna fare cinque o sei operazioni senza la possibilità di una scelta rapida. Il software e l’app sono ferraginosi. Sembrano concepiti 10 anni fa.
Il peggio del peggio
Pensavo che il brand garantisse un ottimo prodotto. Ma non è così. Tutto complicato anche per l’installatore. La voglia di spaccarlo in due e gettarlo nel bidone sale giorno per giorno.

Garbage
It’s just so frustrating that something like this can be released. We all assume that when a company says that they have an app to control their product, that it will work. This doesn’t. But, it seems so close that it might do, so you end up wasting hours and hours trying to get it to work, and then, finally IT DOES! But only for about five minutes…. Some update or other, whether on this app, your controlling OS, or even just the ISP that you use, and then nopes, it’s no good anymore. Put another few hours of effort in and maybe you’ll get it working again, maybe not. But when you need it? Definitely not.

Works but clunky
It works but on my iPhone 14 Pro it will not do a ring tone? Not sure why. I can set notifications to make a sound and be visible that’s all.

L’application doit être réinstallée tous les deux jours (et non sans peine) car elle n’établit plus le contact entre le téléphone et le portail. pas stable. Très frustrant

La serie di prodotti per la quale l’applicazione è ideata sono di scarsa qualità, dato anche il prezzo elevato di tali, l’applicazione inoltre è inaffidabile, problematica e non funziona quasi mai.
Problemi continui
Purtroppo non ho scelto io che prodotto installare…e mi è toccato questo… speravo di non trovarmi male come gli altri che hanno recensito prima di me ma purtroppo devo confermare i pareri peggiori. Adesso poi che ho cambiato telefono e ho un iPhone 15 non riesco proprio a configurarlo per via di un “errore sul dispositivo“ che immagino sia il posto interno, almeno con il mio vecchio iPhone X dopo vari tentativi ero riuscita a installarlo e funzionava - non benissimo - ma delle volte sono riuscita ad aprire. Ho contattato tutti i contattabili e in ultimo ho mandato un‘e-mail al servizio clienti più di 10 gg fa ma nessuno mi ha risposto. Mi chiedo come si abbia il coraggio di vendere un prodotto così scarso.
Modifico la recensione dopo alcuni mesi di utilizzo dall’ultimo intervento. Ora che è stata data un’alimentazione al PLX V WI-FI finalmente sembra andare bene almeno il 90% delle volte. A volte qualcosa che lo “confonde” c’è ma rispetto a come era partito va meglio. Rimane che arrivare al risultato è stata un’agonia e che la app non è granché a mio modo di vedere, l’esperienza utente è macchinosa e non immediata. Anche gestire la chiamata in entrata non è praticissimo, speriamo in un miglioramento!

Very poor
I’ve been using this app for about 5 years and it’s total garbage. I don’t know if I can use a different app to control my Came BPT gate system, but I would definitely use something else if I knew how. The key problem is that the app does not reliably connect to the gate intercom. It does sometimes connect through, but never when trying to pick up an incoming call from the intercom. So you can’t see or hear who’s there and also can’t open the gate. I don’t have connectivity problems with any other Wi-Fi devices or any other apps, just something about the way this app is designed to work which simply doesn’t. I really really hate it.

Ho istallato questo videocitofono per poter avere il controllo fuori casa ma non funziona: non sono mai riuscita a ricevere una chiamata... Non mi sentono e non li vedo perché sperso sono già andati via

Da migliorare
Ho acquistato il PLX V WIFI per l'accesso remoto alle chiamate, ma l'app è deludente. Il trasferimento delle chiamate alla postazione remota è troppo lento e le notifiche non vengono mostrate se l'iPhone è in standby; rispondere è complicato: bisogna aprire l'app e premere il pulsante verde e si perdono secondi e chi suona é già andato via. La navigazione presenta bug, con alcune pagine senza opzioni per tornare indietro o alla home. Serve una notifica di chiamata più strutturata, stile chiamata (slide per rispondere). L'app limita gravemente l'esperienza utente e necessita di miglioramenti significativi.

J’ai fait confiance à mon installateur pour la marque. Grave erreur ! C’est de la camelote.
Pas User friendly !
Le systeme vient d’etre installer, pour un portail automatique. Quelle complication! Pour ouvrir ou fermer mon portail, il faut aller dans 10 menus…que ce soit par l’ecran fixe de l’entrée ou par le smartphone. Et aucun parametrage..😩
