Wrongfully Banned by Their Automated Systems
Vinted permanently banned my active account within 15 minutes of listing a brand new boxed electronic device. Their system claimed I was “suspected” of listing a counterfeit item, despite having zero proof.
The appeal process was painstaking (imagine if you rely on this app as a main way of making money!). They made me open the factory sealed box to take photos proving it’s genuine, significantly reducing its value as a boxed item.
2 days later they restored my account and admitted it was a “mistake on their side” and said “apologies for the inconvenience!”.
So zero understanding by Vinted or an attempt to make things right. Vinted seriously needs to fix their algorithms and not perma ban users when their AI acts up.
DO NOT rely on this app to sell items or make money because your account can be permanently banned without warning, when you have dong nothing wrong.
