Distance
The app has zero clue how far away you actually are. Even when I finally completed it. I still had to make an account and then take the test all over again. Frustrating is an understatement.

useless app fake ratings
this is a useless app that clearly has fake rating. first off i couldn’t even use it bc it says “not available in my region” well im in the US where warby parker is so why even have it if its only for certain regional markets? at least clearly state that. but it turns out that actually saved me time lol because after reading some of the reviews, THEY DONT EVEN TELL YOU YOUR RX NOT EVEN A ROUGH APPROXIMATION, it just goes directly to their ppl and then u have to wait to hear back which ppl in the reviews r saying they never even heard back but even if you do, you know damn well it’s going to be with a sales pitch 🙄 i just want a rough idea of where my vision is at, not this corporate BS!! and the 5 star rating is 100% FAKE!!! even the REAL visual acuity test apps have around 2.5-3.5 stars because they’re not super accurate and at least the one i tried requires a second person but still at least they actually DO what they ADVERTISE, UNLIKE THIS ONE! should’ve known it was garbage as soon as i saw it was by warby parker smh

VERY bad experience. After initial test the voice said “great!”. Then nothing… so started all over. Second time kicked me out of the app after the test, and third time was “oh, looks like you moved quite a bit!” Ugh 🙄. So I tried 4th time… nope. Annoyed, want my time back.
Simple beauty
Incredibly simple and elegant process to renew a prescription. Saved me at least 2 hours and took only 5 minutes sitting in my living room.

That was nice - it was quick and easy. As long as you have room to go the full 10 feet distance. You need to be 10 feet away and then it will work. 👍
Save your $25
My foster kitten knocked my iPad off the counter and I had to start over. I later got an email saying they couldn’t update my rx and that I needed to go to the eye doctor, so I did. $279 later I received the same exact prescription as last time 🙄. Warby Parker should at least refund my $25.

Buggy authentication forced me to restart, buggy distance made me take it at 15 feet away. Just a poor UX overall.

This app is completely useless. It says to put your phone on a flat surface and step 10’ away. I’ve done it multiple times and it says I’m zero feet away no matter where I stand.

Bugged
Took the test, logged in to submit it, and it made me restart from the beginning. Then after the second time it said I moved too much during the exam despite standing in one place, and promptly crashed. :/
I never moved
Had to take it three times because it was convinced I moved when I didn’t.
Junk
Not usable in certain states? No law prevents that, they just won’t let you even use it unless they can sell you their overpriced glasses
Ripoff
My vision hasn’t changed. I had no problems with the test but was told I would benefit from in-person. So, I spent $25 to be told to go in for an exam that will cost me over $100. Will not use this again.
