Not good value for money anymore

Constant issues with app not updating points correctly so have to register them manually. And now having to play the ridiculous hunt Stanley game each Monday to earn rewards and most weeks you don’t find any. Vitality rewards are no where near as good as they were when I originally signed up.

Awful

Considering the app relies on health stats, the app really struggles to obtain data even if you workout 7 days a week..

App glitchy and doesn’t capture points

App always has glitches and doesn’t capture points so often have to go in manually to add them. Also has offers that don’t work on app and several messages saying “we know there is a problem with this”.

I hate finding that dog

Whoever thought that after doing a whole load of exercise to earn points to turn into rewards it would then be a good idea to then dictate the level of rewards earned by trying to find a dog should not be with the company any longer.

I hate the app every time it comes to that. I watch all my hard work disappear when I do not find any of this stupid dogs behind the a hedge. So demoralising and disheartening.

Get rid of it and stop doing people out of prizes.

Its always logging out

Its keep always logging out and always keep me reset the password

Needs work

Needs a widget to quickly show how many exercise points I have on the Home Screen, and I need to login every time I open the app which isn’t ideal.

When it works, it’s great…

The Vitality app is well designed when it works. However, if you do not log in daily or regularly or if you travel overseas, it is not unusual for points to be missing. To notify Vitality that points are missing is cumbersome as for some reason it can not pull your account details through to the form. The parts that work are great but considering so much of their program is based on earning points, it really should work smoother. For context, I’ve been with Vitality for nearly 5 years and have to report missing points usually every 2 months.

(UPDATED 15/08/26)
Thank you for clarifying the issue when travelling. Tbh that is not the main issue. It’s that points are regularly not captured even in the UK and the process to do this is cumbersome. Surely they are things that could be fixed?

Ok

App can be slow to refresh the points particularly if you don’t open it everyday. The rewards aren’t had good as they used to be. Some considerations need to be given to location. Not everyone lives near a Nero or Waitrose which means reward benefits are lost.

Amazing

I love the app, the system to earn rewards base on your steps and your workouts

Getting worse

This is my second review and not as good. Basically I would not bother getting the app. You are meant to get points for working out hard but ever since I got my Apple Watch I’m constantly missing points meaning I’m having to pay some money towards my watch. It’s a very frustrating app after trying messenger and WhatsApp to get in contact with someone to sort out my points problem but getting nowhere.

Worst app

Terrible app, nothing positive to say….takes ages to open, or fails and have to try again, doesn’t register points, earn rewards and select and then doesn’t give them to you. Last time I reviewed I got a response saying it must be my phone, yet when reading other reviews they all have the same problem! 🤷‍♀️

In the middle

If I don’t log into the app it misses weeks of activity. And says I’m not active. Quite annoying.
There are good benefits from the app but haven’t experienced any yet as it doesn’t always record my data.

Disappointing

App requires multiple logins always seems to lag days behind missing Apple Watch data feels very clunky and continues to require operating a separate webpage to access additional features , apps GUI feels at least 5 years old and requires updating to market place levels.

Worse and worse

The partners have got worse and worse over the years. The rewards, not as good, eg a free cinema ticket swapped for half price in Vue. Not worth it at all. Then partner like Pizza Express added instead. Plus, the rigmarole to claim points changes continually to make it more time consuming and confusing to claim points that are missing.

Extremely buggy

Never runs smoothly - doubly frustrating when you get charged if it doesn’t pick up all your points

Stopped Working Completely

Used to be patchy and somewhat unreliable but has now become completely non-functional. Can’t login, a content loop of crashing. Deleted and reinstalled, same issue. Literally useless

Pointless

Not sure why I’m paying for insurance when its slower than dealing with the NHS

Never seems to work.

App is very buggy. Won’t always log you in, doesn’t seem
To sync with you exercises apps and in turn won’t add points to your account!!!

it’s not connecting on Health app

it’s been a week it’s not connecting on Health app. so right now I can’t sync my steps, workouts or anything

Won’t connect to Apple Health

Previous versions have been fine but as others have said it won’t connect to Apple Health and therefore no activity points can be earned
