Great house for multiple families and kids
We had three families with 9 kids in total, and we all felt like we had our own space. (One family downstairs, one in the two bedrooms next door to each other on the main level, buncha kids in the upstairs loft, and our family in the master bedroom) We brought an air mattress, and my 4 year old son happily slept on the floor of the big walk-in closet in the master suite, so that felt like a little bonus bedroom even. Each family had their own designated bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals, and there was a high chair, pack and play, and a big farm play set with lots of animals. All the porches were lovely, and the kids loved chasing fireflies in the backyard. The host was also very communicative and accommodating. We were there for 3 nights and decided to do the Mammoth Caves historical tour and a nice little community water park 20 min away in Leitchfield for the kids. We never actually saw the lake which felt a little sad since I’m used to lake houses being right on the water, but that doesn’t seem as common in these parts as in other places we’ve stayed. There was a swimming beach and marina less than 10 min away I think. We just never got there. All in all though, it was a great place for our multi-family reunion.

Charged for not staying
Booked a cabin in the poconos. Link for me to make payment wouldn’t work, so canceled the stay. Somehow, they could make the payment work then. Will never use Vrbo again
