Don’t use it
I was encouraged to use this when I booked. It’s rubbish and makes everything more difficult rather than easier

Completely broken
I’m unable to use the app properly at all and it’s making my trip to the hotel difficult to manage. Thankfully the staff have been attentive via email and phone. The app really needs to be fixed.
Potentially the most irritating app I’ve ever used
Honestly, just delete the app. It’s infuriating to log in, with many “password does not match” messages when you know the password. No option to actually tester the password. After eventually getting in, I tried to make a massage booking … turns out I needed to call them. Super irritating and a bad reflection on the hotel brand.

The worst app - Don’t bother just phone them.
Given the cost of starting at the hotel and amazing service in the hotel they have definitely dropped the ball with this app.
We stay regularly and love Watergate Bay but trying to use this app is painful and annoying.

Not functional on iPhone
In agreement with most other reviews, this app simply doesn’t work. If it was optional, I wouldn’t care. But our not inexpensive stay at Watergate Bay (our favourite destination) is being held hostage by requiring us to use a broken app.
Having to regularly one’s phone also goes against the whole spirit of Watergate Bay and Another Place.

Needs a refresh
Having used the app to access and complete the requested pre-arrival form, I can no longer get to my confirmed booking. All I can see on the app’s menus are ways to make new restaurant and room bookings. I’ve never been to Watergate Bay hotel before and this experience does not fill me with delighted anticipation. Let’s hope everything is much better IRL.

- content poor eg faqs limited
- majority of links take u back to website
- navigation poor and not user friendly
There is so much opportunity to do this better and provide a more seamless customer experience. Considering u drive all ur customers to this app it would be beneficial to invest in ur digital team and defiantly get some customer research! This doesn’t work

Useless
Once you open a page you can’t close it! Apparently I have to use the app to book breakfast and room set up 😃
Great Hotel - shocking App
This app is terrible.
Booking cause the app to crash
It doesn’t integrate with user accounts on the phone and won’t remember your username password.
And it won’t let you change your password but gives no reason other than Failed.

Doesn’t Work
The app constantly glitches, its not intuitive, won’t allow me to reset my password but doesn’t tell me why, I just get the ‘password reset failed’ message….have I entered too many or too little characters? Have I used the wrong characters? Who knows?!
Watergate Bay is one on my fav hotels & I would expect a better app experience if this is what they would like you to use to manage your bookings.

Doesn’t work
Confirmation email says I need to use app to book breakfast but cannot log in any which way I try. I guess this will mean “due to covid precautions” no booking = no entry and more money for nothing, best not to have any expectations these days and I really did used to love the waffles here as well!

Crashes constantly
Worse than useless I’m sorry to say. Can’t access my itinerary as the wheel of death appears without end. Opening the app even usually displays “checking for updates “ then crashes. I have made bookings only for these to disappear. So I have deleted and reinstalled the app many times but will give up now and just talk to the hotel directly.

Nice idea just not working
Can open and view Menüs but cannot book anything. Always get an error message. So having to call the hotel instead.
