Helpless App in all banking apps
Its is hopeless app . Takes me around and around to change a daily payment limit .such a waste of time using it.
Issue with total account
There was an issue where the total account appeared inflated as it automatically paid my credit card but hadn’t update the account it took the money from.
Thought I was much richer than I was for around a day.

Useless.
Opened an account and within a few hours the fraud team flagged it as fraudulent because my old name doesn't match (more likely because it doesn't look white). So now the app doesn't work for me at all and I can't get my money back. "Just go into the branch". "It's just our process". Do better.
Future improvements
Please consider these suggestions for future updates: dark mode, Liquid Glass, timestamp and pending label for transactions, and transactions actually appearing in order of when they were made!!
Safest bank for big payments amount on online transactions
OTP and dynamic cvc features put westpac security more reliable.How i wish westpac offer dynamic CVC on E-wallet accounts.

Good but an annoying bug
Generally good app. But recently it’s become impossible to set up a future dated BPay payment in the app. I am pretty sure I used to do this by tapping on the word “Today” but that no longer works.

Great app, but has a bug
A great reliable app until the recent update. I now lose my favourite accounts every single day and they all automatically hide. I reached out to Support and they said it should sort itself out. What a strange response… very frustrating.
Frustrating
I'm genuinely disappointed with the app. It crashes every couple of minutes, the transactions don't come through from Thursday so i can't have data on my budget until Tuesday
Customer phone support
Westpac employee support over the phone was not helpful . This lady was snarky and had sour tone
Customer service
Trying to ask about my joint account issue and to deposit a cheque online, called customer service, got put on hold for 40 mins, got transferred to 5 different departments and they hang up on me. No one has an idea how to fix it and tell me to go to a branch. Your branch teller told me to go back online to do it. Try connect through chat, wait for 3 hours was advised the most general information. If those general information helped, I wouldn’t reach out to customer service would I? What a joke
