Notifications fail
The app has one fatal flaw. You see a notification on your phone but if you open the app there is nowhere to find the notification , it's gone, not in your phone's Notification Center, not in the inbox just gone , making Westpac notifications useless and adding to the risk of fraud
It is a very poor application. I have spent two days trying to get the application on my iPhone.

Terrible customer service
AI chat bot is completely useless. Wait times to talk to a banker are very long. Then when they bother to respond, they close the window after 10 minutes of being idle after taking an hour to write back in the first place. Nobody at westpac is giving consistent responses to the same issue. Does anybody know what they’re doing? Nobody is able to address the issue raised and they do not follow up on feedback or questions. They just ghost you.

Cashless deposit
The app should be cashless deposits enabled. Since you can now withdraw without the physical card.
Cashless deposits would work the same method except your putting money into your account not withdrawing from it. This will remove the need for the physical card completely.

Not happy
Logs me out everytime I send money, & I have to log in again. It’s like it’s limited, I can’t make payments to more than 2 account holders without logging me out. If that’s security that’s annoying!
Bad call centre handlers
It is shocking how bad their call handlers are - thanks for keeping offshoring these roles to India
App simply won’t work, no access
Reinstalled, phone restarted, reset password, called the phone line - Not even a trip into the branch will fix it, and the phone system simply directs me to the app.. which I can’t access for some unknown reason! How am I supposed to accept the home loan when the app locks me out ad nauseam and not a single human at Westpac can assist me, because they’re a bot that somehow doesn’t even make use of a basic LLM. Unbelievable.

Constant crashes
I can’t do a single transaction in this app without it crashing and kicking me out. It’s very frustrating. Would expect a far better app from one of the big 4!
New App
Have selected to download new App and select old App but new app reverts to old App. When I try to select new App again, it repeats what to download? Something needs fixing!

Clunky
When compared to other banking apps this is very close to the bottom of the pile. Super clunky. UX is not great.
