Disappointed

Hard to set up password and connection issues and doesn’t really link with router as 1 system seamlessly....disappointed ! Doesn’t maximise layout easily. Cuts out ! Aarrgghh.

Poor- would not recommend.

I have a four disc set up. One disc keeps dropping out and is not reliable. Despite two devices being in close proximity to the disc that is unreliable the disc does not pick up the two devices. The four discs cost £200 at the time and I would not recommend them.

Fab 7

I was going to rate this as a 4 as it took a while to get them all to turn blue. However, we are running 7 discs over quite a large area and they are all working well which I think deserves 5 stars. Very simple to set up. And no setting messing about when router changed when fibre arrived. Happy days

Bt whole home app with 3 discs

Very quick , easy, and it worked!
What more could you ask for?
Very happy.

On the “whole”… poor

This app is slow to respond, if at all. Often needs a restart. Often doesn’t show the details of connected devices. Has never found a firmware update. The app has not been updated in years.

Not Working

App stops connecting to Discs and I’ve to reconfigure my hole 6 disc system. No app updates in 4 year so it looks like BT has cancelled support for this system. More E waste

Worked for me

Great app helped me update system

BT Can do better

Whilst the mesh net works well the management app is unreliable, fails to start correctly, fails to provide control and simply unstable

Bad

Had it for two years still will not work

Average

Not very smart and doesn’t necessarily find the logical best connections to net the house.
Unreliable

Home wifi app inconsistent

Many times, when I know the network is up and running, the app doesn’t show the discs. If it does, and displays connected devices, when selecting to display them, there are none displayed. The reliability of the network is not good. I often have to restart individual discs. Overall, not a good solution for a meshed network and app

Terrible

Think it’s bad on iOS try Android. Not even compatible with my Pixel 10

Not that good

Keep dropping out and req to reboot, must be better about

Easy to deploy

I use a 6 disc system to cover my entire house and garden. It works well, I have a 500MB FTTP feed from BT Broadband via Openreach, and I get around 450Mb across the house and 200+ MB in the garden area. When installing, don’t rush the installation. Let each disc register itself and allow the network to settle down for 5 mins before adding the next one. Once installed the network is very stable, I highly recommend it to anyone who like me has to use Wi-fi calling on their mobile as there is very little 3G mobile coverage, which is now being turned off, there is limited external 4G mobile coverage and no working 4G coverage inside the house, and not even a hint of the 5G mobile network anywhere as yet. Losing WiFi

My whole home three disc worked well for first 2 years but now at least once a day keeps dropping the WiFi connection. I have to keep switching off the first disc then putting it back on to re establish connection. Router working well and has been tested.

Doesn’t work half the time

Useless

Poor system

Clunky

Unreliable app (mesh is ok)

Very slow, unresponsive app. Frequently fails to recognise any discs on the network despite being connected to the very same network. No option to cancel/back out of menu options selected when the three circles of never-going-to-load appear, so have to kill the app and go back in with fingers tightly crossed the app can find the network that the phone is connected to. 🤦‍♂️

Some devices will not connect to 2.4 mhz.

Poor setup, drops about 4/5th of the bandwidth.

Absolutely rubbish

This used to provide information, now it appears not to work in that no devices are shown (they’re all up and running) gives me nothing to administrate the system. I even deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing
