Wisdo really made me feel less alone.

I genuinely smile every time I open Wisdo. The community is so positive, and it’s amazing how quickly complete strangers can make you feel seen and understood. Whether I’m reading someone else’s story or joining one of the discussions, I always come away feeling a little more hopeful. Everyone is incredibly kind and the encouragement feels so genuine instead of forced. I’m so happy I found this cozy community. ☺️

Supportive, Kind, Safe
This is a great app for when you’re feeling lonely or just need someone to talk to. I’ve been here for several years and I know that whenever I log on I can find someone to listen who understands what I’m going through.

Supportive Community
No matter what you’re struggling with, there are community members on Wisdo who understand. Feeling less alone makes improving your life easier and I know that was true for me. Community Managers also do a great job ensuring it’s a safe space for everyone involved, setting expectations and responding quickly to inflammatory comments if they arise.

Through Wisdo I have found other caregivers who understand what life can be like taking care of a sick parent. It has really helped me feel not alone in this.
Enlightening
Wisdo has given me a new hope for humanity. They do a great job of keeping the app clean and for its intended use. I have witnessed first hand people benefitting from this app and commend the work they and the community do.
Community spirit
I joined Wisdo 18 months ago and at first I felt I wanted to explore the app before opening up to anyone about myself. Once I started getting involved in community discussion groups I found it quite easy to speak openly about various topics and things that felt relatable to me. I’ve made a lot of online connections with people from all over the world and without the continued support, compassion and understanding from the supervisors, lead helpers, helpers and users I wouldn’t feel as happy and confident in my life and I wouldn’t feel supported or understood. It helps to know that there are people out there who have gone through similar things. The app is monitored by dedicated supervisors and moderators who ensure that Wisdo is a safe place for all.

I finally found people who understand
I joined because I was struggling but on wisdo I quickly found people I can connect with who understood my struggles. It has become part of my routine and helped be feel much more helpful. Thank you wisdo.
Great app
This is a great app to chat about hard things. My only complaint was I was having issues with another member and the app wouldn’t let me block them for a good day or so
Overrun by bots
Too many bots in the app. You have “users” that strike conversations with you using the same script. Was initially happy being part of a “supportive” community but started noticing that lots of profiles were disingenuous, or talk like a bunch of AI. Totally put me off…
Nobody genuinely cares about the struggles
I’ve reached out to many individuals, they just don’t care about my feelings. One supervisor just deliberately ignored me and they were online for 4 HOURS!

I will miss the app, I only gave 3 stars because although I really liked the app, i was accused of giving medical advice
and I didn’t do that… I put in my own words about a supplement that was working for me and I stopped using the supplement and noticed more anxiety and stress that I didn’t have when I took the supplement, supplements are not medicine, anyone can benefit from them, I wasn’t given any opportunities to explain myself, they just removed my post, im already having anxiety and rejection issues and the app set a trigger for me

Still not opening
I am getting more and more frustrated with the app’s failure to open. For the time that I’ve been able to log in, it was very useful. Then it would get stuck on the logo screen. Again I made sure my IOS was up to date, and made sure there were no updates on the app itself. I even charged up an old phone that’s an Android to see if possibly it was this phone. It’s not.
I was enjoying not only conversations with buddies but also participated in as many live events as possible.
It finally opened for me last Wednesday. I tried opening it on Thursday, got in briefly, then tried again to get into the app after I took my cat to the vet and he had to be euthanized. Could not get in, and in the days since I still can’t get in.
So very disappointing.

How wrong
So it’s meant to be a support app for help and there’s already not enough of these apps as it is and they threaten to ban me just because someone gave me their WhatsApp I get they’re worried about safety but come on I can’t even make friends then apparently due to these unfair rules so now I’m more lonely and alone

Nothing on here is private. Moderators and supervisors have access to all of your messages and data. They also sell your data, there is no such thing as anonymity or privacy on here.

There are many who will invite you off platform. It’s extremely suspicious. Also, I’m convinced that they are making use of AI with old accounts that are no longer in use. Meaning, there’s a good chance your not chatting with real people, rather AI. I say this because I’ve used AI extensively. The way some responses are written…perfectly…no grammatical errors, and responding in a way that’s over the top….the response is too perfect. This is indicative of AI. This app is very suspicious. With that being said I do believe there are real people on there, who are good decent people. But there are also very very suspicious characters on there. This app doesn’t feel safe.
