Good but annoying
I'd love this app more if it didn't hit me with random and repetitive congratulations every time I open it. I'm a grown up now and don't need moral support from a bit of software, thanks.
Good features bad staff
Website builder easy enough to use and maintain your site but staff are horrible at helping with anything or getting back to you at all beware they don’t like to chase things up properly
Avoid at all cost
Site comes up in freaking Spanish, no customer service whatsoever!
Waste of time!
I have wasted hours just trying to see the website I created yesterday. The chat help is useless; I am now going to try to get my money back & find a better website builder. The ONLY thing that works on Wix is the payment - they are great at taking your money!
Needs to be fixed
When trying to duplicate a blog post over the last week (or more), I receive the error message “There was a technical issue, we're working on it. Try again later.”
Slow slow slow
The app takes forever. It’s not my phone. All of my other apps work fine. It’s literally only my wix dashboard app.
Super frustrated
It is super frustrating that the app keeps changing. Why can’t I see what my payouts are from the app anymore? Why can’t I see what my payments per day were/are anymore? These are the main things I use the app for. Why??????
Horrible update
It’s been days now since I’ve been able to add items to a CMS via mobile app. All I get is the workaround to use desktop. That’s is not acceptable. Offer to go back to previous versions that worked!

Ironically, since their last update four days ago, the app no longer works properly. I’m trying to invoice a client through my phone and I add a service to the invoice, I go back later that day to edit the invoice before I send it to the customer and when I click into the item I want to edit, for example, change the quantity from one to three, the “Save” button is no longer showing. Not sure what they did, but edits are no longer available through the app. Very annoyed as I can no longer invoice and bill my clients on the go. Now I need to wait until I get home to my desktop.

Needs work
Website and app are both very laggy and require multiple close and hard refreshes after updates/changes to see the update or change reflected.
Never works
The app never loads properly. I can only manage my site from a desktop. It’s very frustrating. I can’t even manage user access in the app because nothing will ever load.

CONSTANT issues with the app. CMS keeps freezing, very unreliable in general. Wix needs to do some work on this entire app.
Worst Website Builder
I highly encourage everyone to avoid this company at all cost! It is expensive and time consuming. The site building software is pretty much only compatible with Windows so if you have a MacBook don’t waste your time & don’t even try to use your phone. They also closed our Account which renders the website useless after they closed it for no reason. Multiple people on their team admitted that the information we provided did support our claim to keep the account open but they refused to do anything about it or refund us.

Awful mobile app! Use website login
This app is terrible! SO slow, hangs, difficult to edit site on mobile. Irony is the site being created is meant for mobile! Argh.

you are now required to use a PC to use their services.

Horrible
I can’t believe I pay for the priciest Wix plan and their app is still this slow. It’s been slow for four years.
The Functions don’t actually function
The standalone contact forms under the menu item “Forms and Submissions” feature on the Wix app, allow users to create a form, but it doesn’t allow you to share a form with anybody. The user can create, edit, see a live form, view submissions, but share it? No. Being able to share the form is something that’s definitely needed on the Wix app when your mobile.
This app is such a joke. It is more and more less useful as a mobile app you can do some things, that you can never finish any task on the mobile app you can get partially through it but then the last part to finish it is not an option.
Another is they have a whole section on marketing and creating emails from the Wix app. But they never work. I can’t tell you how many hours I have spent working on my phone and creating email campaigns only to have it freeze up every single time when you start to select who you want to send it to and then the whole app freezes and the only way to get rid of it is to close the app and start over. It doesn’t even have an auto safe feature.
In invoicing, this is another very obvious need, if someone makes a payment and you have to reflect that on your invoice, you have to enter that on the invoice as a negative dollar amount. Well unfortunately, on the app that’s not an option.
For so many tasks that you have to complete in running a business with Wix, you cannot complete on their app. You can maybe start it but you’re still gonna have to get to the desktop ASAP and even for some of the most remedial simple tasks like sharing a link to a standalone form the whole point of it and the only way to do it is to send the link, but for some reason, the app doesn’t allow you to.
I work with so many different apps and AI and by far this app is the worst and it just gets worse as time goes on. If you need help, don’t think about asking any of the three Wix AI, because I have yet to find out one thing that they can do. The most that they do is search the health documents. They say they can do stuff for you and then they say they can’t pull the documents but it’s OK. You can read those but the health documents with Wix are not updated.
So if you’re looking for someone to host your website and you’re thinking about Wix, I would highly consider others because you will be met with so many limitations you will become so frustrated.
