Love Workflowy, app could use some work
I absolutely love Workflowy on my desktop. What I struggle with on the app version is that the arrow to flip through photos doesn’t work and zooming in to pictures is really difficult. It would be great if you could work on this. Also, I know you probably have been working on this or trying to since you’re always coming out with new functionality, but notifications would be life changing. I could literally keep everything on Workflowy without having to schedule reminders on Google Calendar or whatever else.

Unique and Well Designed
Workflowy just clicks with my brain. It just makes sense, I don't know how else to explain it. Runs smoothly, looks nice, customizable. 5/5, no notes.
Just bullet points?
Maybe I’m missing something, but when I make a new node and hit the plus, it creates a bullet point. Nothing I do changes that fact. If the app only allows for bulleted lists and has a calendar that I’m not even sure what the purpose is for within the app, it’s probably not deep enough to be useful to you. Again, I’m probably using it wrong, but UI and UX are a thing.

Best free notes app
I’ve been using Workflowy for over a decade for my to-do lists, goals lists, shopping lists, and all of my list needs. I love how easy it is to use, how it syncs across various devices, and how the free version is ad-free. It keeps me organized!

I’ve used many outliners over the years, but Workflowy is simply brilliant in how well it works across both mobile and desktop. Highly recommended for organising your life, breaking down a project, keeping notes, or anything really - it is very well thought out and very flexible.

基本的にはPCで使わないと真価を発揮しないツールだと思いますが、アプリ版も布団で日記書いたり電車でアイデア出ししたりと重宝しています。
ブラウザ版とのデータ同期のズレもほとんど起きません。目立った便利さはありませんが良いアプリだと思います。
複雑な階層操作やリンク編集などはブラウザ版などに任せて、単純な文章の追加や確認用に割り切るのがストレス無くて良いと思います。

App still broken.
Зачем вообще решили обнлять добавлять кучу функций и менять привычный годам ux? Качал как легкий блокнот, но последние два года обновления превратили в нерабочий неудобный продукт. Очень жаль... лучше бы делали новую апу.

Thought storage
If you like to strategically layer thoughts together it is great.
I highly recommend using a GTD starting format which you adapt to your own taste and style.
I’ve loaded all sorts of nested boards, business models for tracking thoughts and more.
I use it to share notes from meetings, create linked action plans, store up photos…
There is a charge for the pro, but I consider the ability to store all my thoughts a force multiplier equivalent to using AI!

Better and better
Started using Workflowy to track ideas and lists a long time ago. It keeps getting better. Now I use it for planning, writing and productivity. After years it’s still the most used app on both phone and computer.
Amazing progress in 2026 - new features
Workflowy is seriously getting stuff done lately.
I am impressed with the features pumping out regularly.
A reason I stopped using it was that it didn’t have daily notes or a great task management feature set but that is changing! Kudos to the team!
The just added email integration and I’m over the moon.
