Your app seriously sucks. Every time I try to open it it’s the never-ending wheel of death. I have to close the app and reopen it about five times and it takes me about 20 minutes to get into my account. At least. I always check if there’s updates and there are never any in this all is happening when I’m on Wi-Fi and able to use all my other apps just fine. I end up having to go on my laptop to pay my bill which defeats the purpose of having an app at all.

useless and unprofessional
I installed this app because I can’t log into my account to change my payment account.
However, the app just shows a white window after login. There’s a support page dedicated to this issue which recommends that users switch to the app instead of any Desktop browsers.
Xcel Energy’s Salesforce backend is not properly configured:
“We can't log you in because of the following error.
Remote_Error: The remote service returned an error”
Honestly, at this point I’d call the app useless and the service unprofessional. It’s only a matter of time until they lose our user data anyway.

Why am I constantly updating this app?
I mean like updating 4-6 times within a month. Get a better engineering team and/or stop making changes to the app all the time. Those changes in some way I pay for.

Doesn’t even work
The loading screen after putting in my login info just sits there and spins and spins. I’ve even put my phone down and one back and it’s still spinning 20 minutes later. Every single time
Perfect now
It took a few months to get the app perfected but it is great now!!!!
Logs You Out Every Day
This app used to work perfectly, but after the most recent update, it is very difficult to use. I want to stay logged into the app and use Face ID to log into my account. Now I have to type in my password each time I open the app and it won’t stay logged in. Please fix this bug. Even a couple hours after I log in, it can’t remember my login information.

Useful when it works
I’m not sure what’s going on with Xcel lately but it’s impossible to login. Won’t work through the app, hasn’t worked to login via online in months. This company is becoming increasingly frustrating to work with and I’m not sure how to pay my bill(s) if I can’t even login without their system having an error.

Worst app
Every update makes this app more unusable, pathetic.
$10 “application fee”
Xcel needs to stop squeezing every penny out of its customers. $10 fee to start a new service at a new address. Also Xcel needs to stop raising its prices. It’s not like Colorado customers have other options since Xcel monopolizes the state. Boo.

App is stuck in some kind of loop after the most recent update. It won’t load to let you log in and crashes every time it’s opened.

I used the app for a year or two and then it just is stuck at loading while after I login. The menu doesn’t load at all

Serves its purpose
The App has been useful in many ways. I use it mainly to process monthly payments and reviewing invoices and charges. While there’s always room for improvements, I am proud of Xcel for making funding donations available to many institutions including nonprofits. Not only are they an important pillar to the workforce community, but they also financially support various community projects all around their service territories. Kudos to Xcel and their staff!

Past due amounts
I think the app is great but the only issue I see is not seeing the past due amount to be able to select to pay when going through the payment process. you have to select other payment and fill in the past due amount by having to subtract the total amount “past, due“ from the next month’s amount which is not due till the beginning of the next month
