I had a pathetic experience booking w yatra. I booked for two adults when the price was same for both either one or two, n on confirmation voucher I got a booking for one adult and one child instead. I have to now pay extra 2000 bucks for another person while it would have costed me nothing if the glitch didn’t happen on their app. I tried contacting their support team for 4 hrs straight n finally when they called back they simply said it is not a human error so we can’t do anything for the glitch that takes place on their very own app run by the company for which they are absolutely accountable but they simply denied any help saying it is system error not human error.

Safety Risks, TCS Compliance Failure, and Threats to Remove Reviews
I am reporting serious concerns about the Travgram vendor associated with Yatra.
1. Cab drivers arranged by this vendor behaved inappropriately. I felt unsafe as a solo traveller.
2. TCS collected for my Turkey trip was not reported in the income tax portal. This created compliance issues affecting my tax records.
3. The TCS amount is still not refunded or resolved.
4. There were repeated delays in processing refunds despite multiple follow-ups through calls, emails, and messages over several months.
5. I was asked to delete my earlier review with a promise that the refund would be processed within one week. I removed it in good faith.
6. Even after removing the review, the refund remained pending.
7. I am being pressured and threatened to remove my reviews in order to receive my refund.
8. I was also informed that the refund could be stopped if the reviews remained online.
9. Linking refund processing to review removal is highly inappropriate and raises serious concerns about vendor conduct.

Very poor customer care service
Hi recently booked a flight from mumbai to jaipur for 4 people due to an medical emergency one of the passenger cancelled his trip to which we had to cancel his ticket. Further contacting airlines we cancelled the ticket. Afterwards claiming refund has became a nightmare for us. Early they’ve been saying it may take 2-3 working days even though the airline has done the payment to them and after continuously being behind them now the say that I’m calling from an unregistered number even though in YATRA APP it says verified. If you’re planning to book ticket from yatra make sure you’re ready for the worst customer care service.

Ticket scam
Recently I booked a ticket from for a international flight this month. It cost me it costed me 39 975 and there is a tax for that one 10% CGST that’s acceptable but I paid with my credit card and it cost me again nine Rs.75 +10% GST again. I don’t know why this app is still exist and still using one of the worst app I have ever seen if I recommend recommending not to download this app, don’t use this app while booking international flights or any flight.

I booked flight through this app due to some issues I had change of plan but the app says to contact airline to reschedule I have done booking through other apps but this is the worst experience also it says fully refundable to get the total amount you will have to follow some process by insurance company

Flight Cancelled
Wouldn’t recommend booking through this app ..firstly I booked a flight from Dubai to pune and after booking I was informed that my name would show 12 hours prior to departure with no option of web check in ..and to my bad luck my flight got cancelled and I found out that close to 12 of us had the same pnr number causing a huge chaos even though we didn’t know each other,no response from the Yatra team nothing ..while passengers who booked from other platforms got a replacement booking for the following day we are stuck at the airport for close to 32 hrs

Headline: SAFETY ALERT: Stranded and abandoned by Yatra at check-in
Do not book through this app if you value your safety. I booked a prepaid beachside hotel in Kerala for my wife and me. Upon arrival, the hotel denied the booking, stating they have zero affiliation with Yatra. We were left stranded in a remote area with 4 bags in the harsh afternoon sun. Despite calling customer care multiple times, they repeatedly asked for "30 more minutes" and then stopped calling entirely. They effectively abandoned us in a vulnerable situation with no battery and no assistance while being harassed by locals. This isn't just a booking error; it is gross negligence and a total lack of duty of care for their customers. We felt unsafe and harassed because of Yatra’s failure. I am currently initiating legal action in Consumer Court. Avoid this app at all costs—they take your money and leave you at risk.

I had a booking with yatra (international flight) they have deducted the amount first and foremost and no confirmation received, later the day I got an email says booking has been cancelled and amount has been refunded , till date no refund received neither when I try to reach out the telephone number doesn’t exist . The customer service number which they provide says they have no idea about , such worst experience ever

Fake spam company looting people with subscriptions for prime whereas the app doesn’t even support

I have used them years back and so I trusted them and paid for prime service. Surprisingly i noticed that I don’t see any results for flights or trains search. I then contacted support where they told they don’t support on iPhone. Why the hell would you then let me pay for your prime membership via iPhones. I told them then you pay back my money because they didn’t claim the right details and the prime member was a click bait. And no reply!!

Do not book with them
Worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed. I tried calling them to talk to an agent but couldn’t reach anyone and they are not replying my emails they do not have an actual human being answering the phones it’s just automated voice. It is impossible to talk to a real person.

Fake promises and expensive cancellation over direct cancellation through airlines
Used to be good at some point but now like other Indian corporates they are into fleecing customers over providing a service. The cancellation charge even after paying extra for cancellation protection is 2000 rs higher than if I would have cancelled through the airline directly - save yourself the pain and just make reservations directly through the airlines.

No support at all
I made a mistake of booking international flight ticket via yatra. I wanted to reschedule my flight and I am not able to do it online; when I call they disconnect my phone saying call from registered number only. Or they wont even pick up. Also no response for email for 2+ business days. Their customer care also works 9 am to 12 midnight. So basically you are on your own if you need any support to change flight. Got scam
Deeply regret using this app. I mistakenly booked flight for wrong date and cant reschedule plus cant load the page but for cancellation done within a minute and deducted half of the amount for cancellation within 2hrs not even 1day😤 and Refund status cant load and hopeless beta just popping up in the apps can’t do anything! No customer care no nothing. I Got Scam!!!!

Pathetic service
After reaching airport , airline denied check in saying third party Yatra cancelled tickets 1 month ago. Not even a single notification. After all this non sense, it took 6 hours to reach their customer care and missed urgent travel. Later they told they will call back in 30 minutes but never called back and again connecting customer care is just impossible, it keeps saying you are not calling from registered Yatra number whereas I am calling from registered number. After call they simply marked tickets as cancelled and processed refund but no empathy or compensation for cancelling my tickets causing me distress both mentally and financially (I had to book 250% higher cost ticket due to Yatra cancellation) . Stay away from these guys!

Worst service , still waiting for my refund

I booked flight for family for travel from Chennai to Patna in Nov 2025. The payment of Rs.17k has been debited from the bank account but no ticket issued yet through email.
Logged a complaint @support but no response for more than a day. Customer care phone no declines calls. Awful service. Feels like a scam. Would never recommend this site 👎👎👎

Very bad experience
Unable to book ticket with discount, payment does not work, but then it start working as soon as discount is removed!!
