functional but could be better

would like to see history of check-ins, overall number of check-ins that can be parsed by year and month, number of streaks (days/weeks).

Terrible update

It now takes 17 taps to reserve open swimming for 3 people. I was hoping the update finally allowed selected one date, time, and duration then check off all members and submit but still need to go through each person and select all the options.

Also, the feedback form doesn’t work. Once you type, the keyboard can’t be dismissed so it’s impossible submit the form.

So many issues

I’m not enjoying this app at all. The updated app is not easier to use and it has issues often. The version before this current one wasn’t awful, so I don’t understand why it was changed. The bugs need to be fixed!

can not book any open swim session

very bad app

soooooooo frustrating

i updated the app and now i can’t log in. the email with the pin never comes. i’ve erased and reinstalled several times, checked my spam and every folder in my inbox, and am still waiting for a reply from support days later. we pay a lot for membership and can’t even use it… put some of that money into paying a professional to make an app that works!

Bad update

I can’t even sign in anymore. The app went downhill real fast; it stopped saving my location and kept showing Anderson as the default. So I updated based on the banner notification, thinking it would help. And now it will not allow me to sign in AT ALL, even with my correct info. Naturally, the pin password option won’t work and I have not recorded any emails. Why can’t they just develop a new app? This one is garbage.

Constantly need to select the right site

The app needs to be updated. I have to select my site over and over again when trying to find a class. It’s exhausting

YMCA app

This is application constantly glitches , freezes , trouble making reversions , canceling etc . most recently it is changing, which YMCA is selected, even though the user does not have that specific location as their preferred facility. I would really appreciate it if this app worked quite a bit better and was better managed.

Fix it devs

This app is horrible and I can’t even sign in. If i click I am a new user it loads for 3 minutes and nothing happens. I press the need help button and nothing pops up. Horrible, outdated, and buggy app.

borderline unusable

i never leave reviews but this is so bad. issues with client login and making reservations, opaque and badly organized menus, can’t even see the same facility schedule spread as on the website. the negative app experience makes me less likely to visit the Y, and more likely to cancel my membership. i’m sure staff field so many phone calls that could have been answered were things more clearly laid out and accessible.

YMCALA should demand better

YMCA LA should demand better of their app developer— the user experience is dismal and it’s riddled with bugs. It’s frustrating to use and not focused on user experience.

Practically useless

I have been using this app for two weeks and have never been able to reserve or waitlist a class: select the waitlist or reserve button and nothing happens. I have to rely on staff members to do those functions for me, which means that I have to be at the gym to access the reservation system, which means that classes that are difficult to get into are now nearly impossible.

Garbage

Every aspect of this app seems to be designed to frustrate the user. First, it won’t take a new password if you changed it on the website. Second, if you search for an activity, it will not come up unless you pick the day the activity is on. But if you knew the day the activity was on, you wouldn’t need to search for it, would you?

Useless for updated schedule

If you’re hoping that this app has an updated schedule for upcoming events at the facility, good luck. And if you call the front desk for an answer, pray to the heavens it’s not one of the teenage volunteers that are rude and don’t have a clue of anything that goes on over there. This app is only useful for checking into the facility.

App borking trying to reserve

Currently cannot reserve swim lanes - app say cannot retrieve family data

Does not work at night

Laggy, logs out randomly. Doesn’t work at night so you can’t edit classes.
Classes fill up right away, just wish we didn’t need to use this terrible app anymore and it were first come first serve again.

Please mate in this app a bit better for members and staff

I would like to see this application a little better maintained if possible . It seems to very sluggish when making reservations . For a few weeks it wouldn’t show reservation complete , when you were finally able to ‘reserve ‘ it doesn’t show when a swim lane is full until after you try to reserve a spot . The app doesn’t auto refresh .

There are instances where the app is down either maybe because of poor network connectivity , the weather or something else . Always seeing errors : unable to get class data , unable to get equipment data etc please work on fixing this app. If you want members to make exclusive use of this platform . Not to mention there always seems to be “ missed “ check ins .

Glitchy

Please fix this app as it is so convenient when trying to stay consistent . The classes are not showing up, it’s buffering incessantly, I can’t cancel a class or jump on a waitlist… AAAARGGGHHH!
