Then if you try to make the payment again they suspend your account for an indefinite time until you re-verify your drivers license with only Otto the AI to answer for their actions.
Finally resolved after a human reviewed the verification via a third party, slow response and resolution since there’s no direct number to call.

If I could leave one star
Then when I finally logged in, I wanted to close my account. You can only do it by chatting to Otto (chatbot). That got stuck and does not reply to me. So I can’t close the account. And on top of that o can leave conversation. Which I need to in order to start a new one. What? Honestly. I wish I never set it up in the first place.

Blatant Omission of Promo Terms
I received an email from Yonder promising a £10 credit for my first transaction over £10. I followed the instructions, made the purchase, and was then told I wasn't eligible because the transaction didn't happen within 7 days of opening the account.
The Problem:
This 7-day deadline was nowhere to be found in the email. Not in the main text, not in the images, and not even in the fine print at the bottom.
Why this matters:
Deceptive Marketing: It is impossible for a customer to follow "the rules" when the rules are intentionally or incompetently withheld until after the fact.
Wasted Spend: I specifically used this card for a purchase I might have put elsewhere, under the impression I was receiving a reward.
Trust Broken: This is a financial services company. If they aren't transparent about a simple £10 promo, it makes me seriously question how transparent they are with their larger fees, interest rates, and credit terms.
Final Verdict:
Avoid Yonder if you value transparency. A "lifestyle" card should make your life easier, not leave you feeling like you've been scammed out of a promised incentive through hidden, unstated deadlines.
Worst Service
Yonder
Happily surprised!
It’s so much more than a rewards card and is constantly giving me points back on all my spending.
It allows me to build up my points to redeem against experiences or even build it up to withdraw as cash back. I even earn points on my rent payments!
I switched my main spending from Monzo to Yonder and I couldn’t be happier!
