Extremely Basic
I suppose this app does do the absolute minimum to manage my sump pump, however there are lots of things missing I am expecting.
There is zero run history - so understanding of my pump ran X times at any given point of time would be useful.
The App Store app support link dumping you on the company homepage to just “figure it out from there” is just lazy and screams “we have zero interest in your feedback or issues getting to us with as little friction as possible”. There is zero in app support or feedback mechanisms.

Doesn’t work anymore
This app used to function fine. Now it’s junk. I can’t log in. The email to reset my password never comes. Worthless.
Aquanot 508 sump pump- App is totally worthless..
Just had this system installed today and cannot connect to Wi-Fi after many multiple attempts, keep getting error messages. etc. Also no option to contact customer service or tech support. Waisted over an hour just trying to set up and my installers are well versed in setting up connected home devices..

Weird bugs
After the last two updates I have not been about to check the device and make changes in the settings. I can see the alert history and that is it.
Garbage
I couldn’t even log into the app with the same credentials that work on the website. I changed my password, and still couldn’t log into the app. The alarm/monitoring system is malfunctioning, and I can’t find anyone who knows how to fix it.

Love it
Real peace of mind. Automatic testing of the unit once weekly and sends me notification that everything is working good. If my power goes out, it notifies me within 10 minutes that it’s lost connectivity with the device, which helps need to know to have someone check on things if the power is out for too long when I’m out of town.

Share Device No Longer Working
A device was shared with me and shows up as shared on the sharer’s app but no longer shows up on my app. It used to work and snd me email notifications of system test results but no longer works.

Can’t adjust battery install date but instead it always shows tomorrows date. Self test always shows tomorrows date. You guys say how proud you are keeping this in house. Maybe it’s time to let someone who knows what they are doing take over.

Z Control System is worthless
If you’re looking for “Real Time Peace of Mind,” look somewhere other than a Z Control enabled alarm. This app is a lemon—it hardly ever gives any notifications of anything it should. Technical “support” is worthless. They’ll tell you to set everything you’ve already set to get notifications, and then stop responding when they can’t figure out why the app isn’t working. In fact, the whole Z Control network works so poorly that you can’t trust it either. I’m supposed to get texts and emails of alarm conditions, but they arrive 24+ hours after the alarms happen, if I ever get them at all. The A PAK indoor alarm works fine, if you are on premises when the alarm goes off. If you are remote or don’t hear it, you better hope the water isn’t rising very fast, because your alarm notifications will be too late to be any use. In short, the Z Control network and this app give me NO peace of mind.

Horrible App
Alert, notifications do not work. Very unfriendly app with little information on it.
Battery install date keeps changing
It displays the next days date every day and won’t let me change it.
App does not work
I have the same issue as a previous reviewer where you can’t even get logged into the app due to a loop error. I filled out my details, received the email to confirm and when I clicked the link in the email it takes me back to entering my personal information, but with no keyboard to even attempt to reenter. The advertised monitoring ability is the primary reason why I bought this product and now I’ve sunk $1500 into this (product + plumber to install), and this product has already failed to deliver.

The pump is great…and it gives me peace of mind.
I am not as impressed with the app as it is just not intuitive. It doesn’t really give any insight like analytics to tell me if or when things are failing.
Maybe I am picky…but I want advance notice when the pump will fail.

What the Heck?
Can even set up an account, let alone anything else. I hope another app will work with this system since notifications via phone was one of the selling points. I do NOT understand how something so simple can’t be done…. Waste of time.
