Consistent quality
I have ordered time and time again from Zenni as the price can’t be beat. The quality is excellent, the service is fast and delivery on time. I don’t think I will ever shop in a glasses shop ever again.

App is Completely Useless
I have ordered from Zenni for every prescription since 2007. Yes, this means I bought from them long before virtual try on was a thing, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to use it now.
I have downloaded the Zenni app onto an iPhone 13, and iPhone 15 and my iPad and all of them encounter errors that render the feature unusable. This has been ongoing for over a year. No troubleshooting or support is provided. It is not an issue with permissions or devices because the app is able to perform the facial measurements without problem.
I guess it’s been a good run with Zenni and it’s time to find another company that provides working technology.

Don’t force updates but make the app worse
Search functionality has been heavily degraded after I was forced to update the app to the most current version. I have a high prescription and only search for “high prescription” frames in the app. But now the app keeps showing me frames that are incompatible with my prescription despite this. This can only be discovered after moving into the item page itself and attempting to select lenses. This issue did not exist before. Stop wasting my time.

Terrible interface
The app and website are terribly unfriendly for users. Any time you have to go back in your order, it destroys everything else saved that you’ve gone through already, including putting in your prescription (a lengthy process). Also, the PD that fits my face on the app is over 5mm different than my in-person measured PD, and ordering is a nerve wracking process that my glasses will not fit my face. I wish the whole process was easier and more assuring of my purchase, however I will say they have many options to choose from. Going back to that, one could say they even have too many options. I appreciate the cost being low for non-insured patients, but holy cow it took me over 30 minutes to order one pair of glasses due to the complicated layout and backtracking required to make sure you’ve put your information in correctly.

I’ve never order prescription glasses outside of a doctors office due to the condition of my eyes, very poor. Zenni has been a GREAT experience, very easy and stress free to order. Top quality glasses and my prescription was spot on! They have gained another life customer! Thank you Zenni!
Not as great
Customer service is so slow! I’m here trying to to a return it took them 1hr and 30mins to say something back by then I was off the app, I get an email saying “we missed your chat can you email the problem” 24 hours and still nothing… I need to do a return since I can’t do it for myself (CAUSE THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THAT) 140 dollars down the drain
