Would love to see this work again
This is a pretty basic app. In these times, I’d think you’d be able to get a kid to get this working for you…
A bad joke
This thing is like a bad joke. Cannot connect to the fan because the window for you to enter the code completely obscures the code.! the remote control is kind of a junkie thing as well. Totally not worth the money and would advise anyone to avoid like a plague!
Tried and tried
Wouldn’t connect. Tried for 20 minutes standing on a ladder and holding phone literally into the unit. Could not have gotten closer. Gave up. Life’s too short.
If you can’t make it compatible w the password generator…
It’s an app to manage my fan which I was only trying out because the remote eats batteries so fast I stopped using it and instead have been using g a ladder to turn on the fan. Another really bad experience, Zephyr. If you have to insist on an account being created, make the process compatible with the strong password generator built into iOS.

Crashes on open
Crashes on open. Pls fix asap!!!
No good
Hood won’t connect to the internet (WiFi) though the app. Don’t know if it’s the hood or the app, but either way, if you can’t connect the hood to the internet none of the remote features will work. It’s basically a manual hood.
Junk
They sell the app as a feature but it hasn’t worked. Every time we try to use it you need to reset the password.
Does not even open
This has to be the worst appliance app ever. The blue tooth was always spotty and would just disconnect randomly. Now the app won’t even stay open. I think this Zephyr way of doing a money grab so you have to buy their hub.
Terrible app
The main downside is that you can only add 1 unit into app. I have 2 hoods and for the 2nd I gotta create separate account. So annoying.

App Crashes!
This app constantly crashes. It has been this way for months.
Nice workaround when it worked…
The normal remote rarely works, so the app was a convenient way to get around it. Unfortunately, the app has been crashing for a long time - hopefully zephyr can get its team to keep the app up to date. Not sure how they expect people to function their hoods otherwise.
Doesn’t work
App no longer works and won’t open on the current version of IOS. Was always a bit clunky, but Zephyr doesn’t appear to support the app.
Completely unreliable
Constantly loses pairing with Alexa and needs to be reconnected, despite being in the same room as a solid wifi connection. And the app itself just crashes on startup now, even after rebooting my phone.
Crashes on Open
App now dies/crashes as soon as it opens on iPhone 17 Pro.
It Working Anymore
With newer versions of iOS, this app won’t even load anymore. Worked only sporadically before. Now nothing. Gee, thanks Zephyr!!! Thanks for thinking of the consumers of your product. Pro-Sumer good, with a sub-consumer app. Would give zero stars if posssible.
App used to work
With recent iOS updates, the app no longer opens so I cannot use the app to turn the fan off or set the 10-min timer to turn off. I found that feature very helpful as I would keep the fan going after high-heat cooking to remove all cooking odors from the kitchen.
Terrible
Constantly disconnects and now the app won’t even open at all.
Disaster app
This app doesn’t work at all now. TheZephyr hood I purchased is an in ceiling unit and I cannot warn others enough about the shoddy tech and terrible product quality. The remote doesn’t work and now this app is non functioning. I will take this review down if they just fix it properly but right now my strong advice is don’t listen to the sales or support people - the product just doesn’t work.
