Scam
People are buying off my registry, and we’re supposed to receive cash for each item so we can purchase ourselves since we live far from family. Instead of cash to transfer, it’s saying we HAD Zola credit (which I can’t use because all my products are from other sites). Now it’s saying we have 0 credits even though someone paid them $80 for a gift. Can’t even call the support line because it just tells you to email them, and who knows when I’ll get a response.

First baby registry
Easy to navigate, the o my down fall is , i can’t copy a registry from another website and all the items automatically appear and connect you to the website like the Zola wedding registry. You have to individually add each items which was very time consuming. Other than that the app is great!
THIS IS AWESOME

Don’t waste your time
I don’t even know why this app is available….. there’s no way to link other store registries to this app so friends and family can view all registries at the same place….. it’s not user friendly and very clearly not fully functioning. It’s NOTHING like the wedding app and shouldn’t be available to the public until they have it fully operational.

Cash funds option is so useful
We used Zola for our wedding and now I’m using it again for our baby shower- my favourite feature is the ‘get cash equivalent’ which means when people purchase stuff from your registry you just get the cash sent to your bank account. (They also have the option to purchase separately and notify Zola or yourself to mark as purchased).
Two reasons I love this: firstly, I was able to order things ahead of time, but still have them be giftable on the registry. Secondly, I was able to shop deals, buy secondhand, and otherwise be super thrifty to save myself and the gifters some money.

Stay far away
App is half decent, but they are terrible at getting your items actually shipped to you. And it’s not cheaper than other registry providers so I’d recommend something else especially when timing matters
Don’t bother
I regret using Zola Baby vs Babylist or just doing Amazon. Small assortment to choose from in platform, a pain to add stuff from off site (doesn’t save links eg so not easy to then go buy what you’ve added), there’s no desktop option (which would make building a registry much easier), and finally the platform itself is very buggy, where the app won’t let me us Zola Credit to purchase items - and customer service is pretty slow in responding

Would not recommend
I was really excited to use Zola baby as I had a great experience with Zola weddings. I would save yourself the trouble as the app is too new and they seem to have a lot of issues they can’t work out. I’m having a lot of shipment/delay/backorder issues and it’s impossible to get in contact with anyone helpful from customer service. They tell you they will email in 24-48 hours but I have been waiting for weeks with no answer to why my orders haven’t been shipped. Save yourself the stress at an already stressful time and use another registry site.

Too New: Go Elsewhere
My husband and I used Zola for our wedding registry and it was great, so we were excited for them to come out with a baby registry. However, I really wish we had gone with another company. If you experience delays with wedding items, that’s usually fine, but you really can’t and shouldn’t delay items for moms-to-be trying to get baby essentials. Multiple items have been backordered, delayed, and cancelled, and the Zola Baby team have been very hard to get in touch with, not available by phone and delayed by a week in getting back to us by email. My baby came earlier than her due date, so we had to spend our own money to buy the essential items and the only option was to take Zola credit. Now more than three months after her birth, and many emails later, we finally did get through to customer service and were able to resolve the issues. I’m grateful for that, but on the whole, the experience has been disappointing to say the least. Who wants to fight with their registry when preparing and then making a home for baby? Do yourself a favor and go with a more established company instead.

Feels like it’s in beta
I used the Zola app for my wedding and had a 10/10 experience, so I was thrilled to see a registry option for my baby shower. That being said, the two apps are not created equal. I didn’t want to be confined to one vendor’s registry, so Target and Amazon etc wouldn’t work as sole options, yet I still needed a single link (and have not enjoyed using Babylist as a gift giver in the past) so I defaulted to Zola. The app feels unfinished… veryyyyy limited product selection so it essentially forces you to add items from other stores, which is not the most seamless tracking and purchasing experience. The navigation felt simple-ish but very confined. Also their curation of check lists, inspo registries, and site design was minimal. Additionally, the app is only available to be managed on Apple devices, though you can share with whomever (super annoying for me to only be able to use my iPad while every other device in my house is Android). Also, I wish it would autosync other registries with Zola, so if I have to add an item to my Amazon registry, it would autofill on Zola—currently it’s a very manual process. Also the 15% discount doesn’t apply to a lot of major brands like Uppa or Nuna. I wish they’d held back the app until it was further along. Ultimately I chose to use it because I could transfer unused site credit from my wedding registry to buy baby items (which is a huge perk if you fall in this camp), but I would not recommend it to my friends unless they did also. Kind of a bummer given the great experience with the wedding app. Overall, it has worked but I feel extremely “meh” about it.

Best Baby Registry
Its still small in terms of product offer from them but you can add anything you like from other registries, websites, etc and its easy to shop on it for those who are purchasing the gifts. A one stop registry I think makes it simpler for everyone. My only negative would be that it is an app only to add the selection of products you want. I’m hopeful they bring the desktop version soon.

Go with Babylist instead
This registry is still too new, I regret going with it. There are not many products actually within the registry, you end up needing to link most things to an outside website. Many pages within the site/app are broken. It was just very clear this is a new service they’re launching and they do not have the kinks worked out. I had a great experience with Zola Wedding which is why I went with this but it’s not comparable … wish I went with Babylist!

Great app
Adding things from other stores is a breeze. I do wish there were more options on the Zola app specifically but it’s understandable due to how new it is. We used Zola for our wedding app so this was a no brainer for us!
Love Zola Baby, needs Android app
Really love that Zola has added a baby registry but my husband has an Android and annoying that he can’t manager the registry as well. Also disappointing to not be able to manage it from the website. Otherwise love the functionality and can have items held to ship later or converted to cash. Would also like one more step before having items sent.

Disappointing
I really wish you were able to build the registry in a web browser instead of just on the app on your phone. It makes it very difficult to shop with your partner, unless they too are willing to download ANOTHER app. I’ve also found that it doesn’t let you change the order of products once you add them like it does in the web version (or wedding version). I’ve also had some glitches adding items from other stores. Honestly I’ll probably end up registering for items mainly elsewhere because of this.
I loved Zola for our wedding but the user experience for baby has just not been as great.

Great potential, app is a solid start
I know that Zola Baby just launched recently, so it’s understandable that there are some pieces still in the works. This is as of October 23, 2023.
Pros -
•The process to add from a URL or other store is pretty smooth
•App is responsive and doesn’t seem to bug out
•Easy to add items to or remove from registry
•Easy to customize the end user landing page
Things I hope improve -
•Selection - there are currently multiple brands listed under the Add Gifts page which have 0 items when you tap into them. There are also lots of brands that have very little selection, when the actual brand has a ton more options
•Linking to other registries - I had to manually add everything that was on our Target and PB registry
•Sorting / grouping - items show in the order they’re added. I would love the ability to sort by category (not just filter to category). Also, sort order on the buyer’s registry page sometimes glitches and doesn’t sort properly.
•Manage registry on web app (they have said this is in the works).
Overall, I’ve had very positive experiences with Zola in the past for wedding registry, so I think the potential here is strong, it just seems like maybe it was launched before it was quite baked. Looking forward to future updates.

Almost perfect
I used Zola for my wedding and love that I know how to use this for a baby registry. I wish it had the app for Mac and a website though so I wouldn’t have to do it all on my phone. It also gets this glitch sometimes where it won’t let me add from other stores. Other than that one thing that needs fixing I like it
