Verdict

The call

Progression and LiftLog both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of LiftLog's written reviews are positive against 61% of Progression's. LiftLog also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). Progression's advantage is ratings volume (161 vs 24). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
