SoCal511 holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Access Services has 163 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Access Services's written reviews are positive against 0% of SoCal511's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Access Services ships an update every 3 months, SoCal511 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
