Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: MyLebara at 4.6 against UK ETA's 3.2. MyLebara also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (10K vs 1.6K). UK ETA's advantage is chart position (#30 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

MyLebara holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyLebara has 10K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of MyLebara's written reviews are positive against 45% of UK ETA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

MyLebara ships an update monthly, UK ETA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
