Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Scruggs BBQ at every 2 weeks against Jack's's every 4 months. Scruggs BBQ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Jack's's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1) and chart position (#204 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
