Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Frontpoint at 4.3 against Flair's 3.2. Frontpoint also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Flair's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 16%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Frontpoint holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frontpoint has 4.6K ratings behind it against 126, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Frontpoint's written reviews are positive against 42% of Flair's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Frontpoint ships an update every 3 months, Flair every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
