Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: NYDocSubmit at 4.8 against NexHealth's 4.1. NYDocSubmit also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 34). NexHealth's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
NYDocSubmit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NYDocSubmit has 30K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of NexHealth's written reviews are positive against 71% of NYDocSubmit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
NexHealth ships an update every 4 days, NYDocSubmit every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
