Works.... kinda
So I’m able to get notifications to my devices, and able to see a video feed and chat to visitors. Can also open the gate via the apps and it appears to work quickly. The other reviews identified these issues and just wanted to point out that these appear to have all been fixed. Also the response time between pressing the open button on the app and the gates actually opening is nearly instant. (I live in the county with really poo internet so this is a big deal).
However the app is so dated and needs a complete overhaul from a deign perspective, also the settings aspects is so confusing, they must be an easier way to display these settings. One small note, when you open the app there is a loading screen showing the app logo, which delays the user from instantly accessing the controls for the gate, is there any way to speed this up?Show lessBigEndy
Do not buy the BFT gate products with this app they do not work
As others have said. >$3k install (h/w plus installation) and I do not have a functional remote gate system. The app does not notify me when someone is at the gate (or Wifi or 4g). user interface is terrible. No alternatives given.
I will be escalating this to the BFT company, but not sure that will do any good if they are not reading and reacting to the existing reviews here.

This app and the $3,000 paid to install the hardware that goes along with it, was a total waste. Simply does not work. Only one user will get called. Your iPhone does not ring or vibrate when getting a call. Just a banner. Yet, every time you hit a function in the app it vibrates your phone. This is really disappointing.Show lessipadthereforeiam

Agree with everything JC Sayer has written. Great concept and great looking product but the WIFI version is an very expensive unreliable gimmick. Our WIFI router is 30m from the Predator WIFi aerial with a direct unbroken line of sight, signal strength fluctuates between 15%-30% when someone presses the intercom button the call takes so long for the to arrive on the IPhone 90% of the time the visitor has left (sometimes calls have arrived the next day). I’ve discussed these problems with the manufacture who recommended installing an Ethernet CAT 5/6 cable directly between the intercom and WIFI router which I did at considerable cost, this maintained a permanent connection but unfortunately the cover on the intercom couldn’t be closed to protect the electronics from the rain, this was because there wasn’t enough space between the circuit board connector and the back of the intercom enclosure with RJ45 connector on the CAT 5/6 cable. Very slow and a bit hit and miss...
We had an electric gate installed and this was what we had to download to connect to it. We’ve had it over a year now and sometimes it doesn’t even ring. When it does ring (probably 90% of the time) it takes what seems like ages to open the app and then the gate (about 20 seconds) by which time some of the delivery people have already left a card and buggered off. It needs to be much quicker (shouldn’t take more than 2-3 seconds) and 100% reliable! Please fix it or somebody tell me another app I could use instead...?!Show lessAnyOldNickNameFFS!

Could be better
This app is really poor, the main reason we wanted it was to identify when the gates are open and closed. This is not a function available on the app. It’s extremely slow to load and react when pressing ‘unlock’ which can mean open or close as there is only unlock or unlock 2. Unlock 2 doesn’t work and when you press unlock, you don’t know if it’s actually unlocking or closing.
Is there any work planned to improve this app or develop it? We are disappointed with it but are willing to continue using if there are improvements made. At this current time it is not fit for the purpose we bought it for unfortunately. Disappointing.Show lesslucyrmck
Very disappointed
The app kicks us out the first time! Ever time we go to answer it, there is no sound and you have to get out and go back in several times before you can talk to caller. I NEVER get the screen to answer the call. I always have to manually go to camera. The app is extremely slow to open. I would not recommend it.Show lessNo shop work

As long as the app is open on my I phone , it is working as it is suppose to. The problem is it doesn’t work unless the app is constantly open on my phone.! If I left the app open all the time, I would never have any battery left.??????!!!!!!!????!!!!!????!!
Slow
Crashes every other time you try to answer gate calls. Has a noticeable delay when speaking. Takes forever to open. Please fix this. Hardware is great, platform not up to par. Please advise if any other alternative available.GalloMiami
