  • Useless Intercom

    This is the worst intercom system I’ve ever owned.
    My predator aerial is only 10m directly in front of my Wifi router yet the signal is terrible.

    As another user mentioned it takes so long for the call to come through to your iPhone that the person has usually left by the time you receive the notification. And that’s IF the call comes through.

    I’ve just tested it by pressing the call button outside and the call hasn’t even come through. I do this every few days.
    I can delete the app and reinstall to get it working but from experience within a couple of days it will just stop working again.

    Absolutely gutted to have spent so much money on something that doesn’t work.
    Don’t waste your money on this system.

    My installer has now stopped fitting these because of all the complaints too.

  • Expensive junk that keeps on giving

    You know when you are watching a movie from the 90s and the actor is browsing archaic websites. This might have been one of those, unchanged and sold off to unassuming homeowners who liked the hardware but didn’t realize the app was pure trash. It has made a $5k purchase a daily pain. We have to remotely open the gate for construction workers that are in and out and the app will just turn off after 20 seconds. After 2 viewing periods, the whole app just shuts off. Then you have to reload, and I don’t care what fast internet you have, it’s not a fast process. Then, to make matters worse, the new phone we had wouldn’t pair to the system and the installer who does this daily, had to spend over 3 hours fixing it and said he was frustrated with the whole app and setup. Needless to say we received an expensive bill for his learning period. He had to actually uninstall his own Wifi pro apps on his and his employees phones as the app kept trying to connect to them, which actually concerns me regarding safety.

    I agree with the other reviews. I installed mine with a permanent wired connection, I have managed to get the cover to shut properly but I still have a really unreliable system. The intercom notification takes so long, then if your lucky enough to get it before the visitor leaves they certainly will have before you can get into the app and open the gate. I use authentication software at work and when it sends a push through to my phone I receive it really quickly, I can be in to app and ok it within seconds, why can’t this app be like that? I’ve also had to start turning it on and off every night so that it will connect, if you leave it for a while it probably won’t.

  • Terrible app

    The product itself appears quality but this app is just pathetic. It’s slow, archaic, and probably the worst app I’ve ever seen or used. For what this product costs, the app should at least be functional. Please update.
  • Wifi App for intercom

    The App is super slow and it takes a long time to load. Every time I get a buzz; by the time the App is up and running, the guests already find a way to come in!
    It seems the App does not stay in background, and reinitiate everything, every time!
  • App has to relaunch even when not closed

    When you swipe away from the app, then come back to it, it reloads each time. Please update to stay on last screen vs relaunching every time. It causes a 5-10 second delay when someone rings the bell. Not what I would expect from such an expensive gate system.
  • Better But Still Needs Some Work

    This app works better for me than the Predator app. I do have a question for the app's creator: The version when loaded is shown as version 2.2 but the app's description notes that the latest version is 3.8. What version does one get when it is loaded? Thanks.
  • Awful app

    A wonderful concept massively let down by a horrendously poor app. Often disconnects from the gate device and I get random notifications on my mobile device. Really poor. Has to be improved urgently. AES have a great intercom product that’s virtually unusable due to the terrible app. Should have installed a regular intercom. Can’t get any customer service from AES because the won’t deal with the end consumer. ‘Shape up AES’ and sort your lives out. Would rather start again with a company and product that’s more user friendly.

  • Not very intuitive difficult to use

    A message to the developer can you please label the icons and include instructions on what the icons stand for and make it more intuitive and user-friendly. This app really is horrible we have our own app developers if you’d like to hand it over to us we can make it much better.
