I can’t believe this is free. This is truly remarkable. I’ve paid money to some many other apps and websites just to get less than what this dictionary offers all in one. They have a detailed study mode, organize kanji by JLPT level, frequency, grade, By Radical. For the detailed student, this is remarkable. I used to have to spend so much time going back and forth between different resources to fully understand what I’m studying, with this is all in one. Not too mention they have the draw look up feature which is remarkably accurate. They offer leaning about different slang and dialects, common words and expressions. Where else are you going to get this information. They organize words by category, ie. words relating to Music, Biology, Zoology, Buddhism, Poetry. Even Mahjong terminology! I mean it can’t be overstated. These people put in work to put out an excellent product.Show lessLehSlith
It's great
I use it all the time. It has lots of features I don't use, mostly i just wanted a dictonary - there are some things it doesn't do that I can't find anywhere but it has a good dictionary and works on my phone. I think most of the data is from EDICT.
I like the favorites and really love the history feature. I wish it had a way to search prefix or suffix by hirigana. I also wish i could save my history somehow as it's the most important thing as i use it when hear a new word.

Je l’utilise depuis 3 ans. Très complet avec des exemples de phrase et expression. On peut dessiner les kanjis ce qui est très utile quand on ne sais pas le son et il y a les étapes pour écrire le kanji. C’est l’outil essentiel pour mes cours de japonais!me_can

Ive used this app for a few years. And I don't use any other app on phone when I'm reading manga and need to look up words.
Just amazing.
The only con is I can't change the language in the settings. I would like to switch back and forth from English to japanese to change the ui. Even with that, this app is perfectShow lessBlack shawdow

Not only is this the most complete, helpful, and organized dictionaries I’ve ever seen… it makes me desperately wish the same thing existed for every other language I’ve studied. Hands down recommend to everybody who may need it, 10/10!Slinkyyyy!

I love that you can write kanjis to look them up. Much faster than having to pick a kanji’s radicals one by one, especially for works with 2-3 kanjis!Waterdelph

The app is even better than the website and it’s incredibly fast to load
I really recommend it for anyone learning japanese and it’s better than any English dictionary I’ve used 😂 I wish there was an English dictionary that is this easy to use
The flashcards are really useful and the spaced repetition option makes learning very efficient and easy. It has a good pace that makes it easy to learn!
