  • GREAT HEALTHCARE OPTION

    I needed to be seen by a physician and didn’t want to really go out and about so I choose the E-Visit option instead and so glad I did. The doctor was polite, professional and knowledgeable. It was also a pretty quick process which was another plus. I highly recommend the E-Visit option especially to those that have a contagious illness.

  • Super Fast and Super Easy

    I used this app for the first time on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to be seen by a provider. Due to the nature of my situation, I had to have further treatment at urgent care, but even that went quickly. We had some technical difficulties with our connection toward the end of our e-visit and were disconnected. The provider immediately called me to continue the visit. She provided excellent care.

    While the app is pretty good this is more of an fyi for users. Telehealth from MedStar appears to be a quick and inexpensive alternative to a doctors visit The website and app says you can pay out of pocket for a flat $79 fee or use your insurance. But there is a note that says it may be less or may be more if you use insurance. We used it earlier this year for a pink eye infection for our child. What we didn’t realize was MedStar charges insurance the same for the online visit as an urgent care visit. They billed our insurance over $400 who then applied almost all to our deductible since it was early in the year. So we ended up with just under a $400 bill for a 4 min eVisit. That’s $100 a min. So depending on where you are in the year and deductible you might want to think hard about using this app vs a normal doctors visit.

  • Overall a good app

    I like this app. Good video/audio quality. Clear/east to understand interface.
    Two things I would improve:
    1. Add Landscape video; I was in portrait and the provider was in Landscape (still facing up, but didn’t take up the whole screen). Turing the phone didn’t cause the video to fill the screen.
    2. Microphone access; after setting up an appointment I had to approve microphone access. This caused me to leave to app (going to iPhone setting) and when I returned to the app I had to go through all the steps AGAIN to setup an appointment.

  • Save time

    Great a wonderful physician, this type of appointment save me time, and how worry I was. It solve my problem and hopefully with some medicine it will be done and the assistance of the physician was very helpful she also suggest a physically appointment just in case the medicine doesn’t work. Professional, I’m very happy with MedStar tele appointments. In another appointment I had by video for my baby, we consult the results of some ultrasound and we could talk to the specialist, that saves me time specially now as a new mom. It’s is very practical and helpful. I totally recommend this medium for Dr. appointments, if isn’t something that serious.

  • Absolutely amazing, thorough , and attentive.

    Marissa was amazing, she listens to my concerns and swiftly proceeded to make sure I was getting the proper treatment necessary for my ailment . Marissa was very attentive assuring that I was feeling great physically and have alternatives if our visited needed a second opinion which I didn’t , she hit the problem right on the nose and with In minutes sent my prescription over to my pharmacy. Great patient care all around thank you so much for your patience and your quality service Marissa .

  • Phenomenal visit

    My visit with PA Morrison was outstanding today. She was thorough, attentive, extremely professional and asked pertinent questions to care for my ailment. This was much more convenient than an urgent care or ER, and I am satisfied with the service and remedy to help me get better. I will certainly use this service again.

    Always an amazing experience on the platform. I was so grateful that it was not very busy. I appreciate you explaining everything to my daughter and letting her know what was going on. Your joyous personality was great. Also explaining how we need to use the medication will make it so much easier for me when I have to apply it. I am so grateful

  • Simple, fast, and friendly !

    Going to the doctors office/urgent care with small children can be nearly impossible. Sometimes it’ll make us ignore our medical issues due to the inconvenience it would cause having to leave the house for an appointment. By the time I downloaded the virtual app, made my appointment/filled out the consent forms, I was seen by a provider within 30 mins! She was friendly, professional and straightforward to the point. I am impressed :)
