We are frequent Costa Vida lunch time people. When they announced this it was seen as maybe a positive right, because you can use your phone instead of the card. But wait, there's a MAJOR catch that cheats the customer. It used to be that you would have your card scanned at the time of purchase and points immediately placed on the card. Now you have to put the info in later online or on the phone and for me it's not something I remember to do instantly. Within days, if you scan the receipt it claims it is "too old". That is a subjective claim. And stupid. Why is a two week receipt "too old"??!!! Why not 3 weeks or 3 years or 30 years? Why add an extra hurdle to "reward" your customers. I like Costa vida and many of us go to lunch there weekly but this has been a pain for all and a big downer. In this century one lesson most small businesses forget is that you never want to disenfranchise your consumer. Do it at your own peril. This was a great idea somewhere in their marketing dept but now it's the real world. You have terrible reviews on your app and people are angry. Will you listen?
