  • Great Customer Service

    I thought I hit complete on my pick up order after a crazy Tuesday. I didn’t and the staff was so courteous and friendly. Told me it wasn’t a big deal at all and they would quickly make my order now that they had it. Probably not a big deal at all to them but forget to push complete on the dinner order was almost the break for the day. Instead Costa Vida saved the day and got us our food so quickly! It was extremely appreciated!

  • App update terrible

    Well, I just wasted like 30 minutes trying to get the app to work. It wouldn’t accept my old login so I tried to reset my password and never got the email. Then I tried to use a new email and it said errors there was a problem, but would not state the problem, and every field said success. So then I tried to order as a guest and the Apple Pay wouldn’t work. Finally, I put in my credit card to get it to go through as a guest. You guys need to do some major quality assurance, testing and debugging before you go live with these updates. This has been a pain. and I have never done an app review before, but this one deserved it.

  • Very unprofessional.

    I went in tonight to pick up a to go order. Me and another guy in front of me waited for over 10 minutes. Finally we asked if anyone could wait on us. Both our orders were sitting there getting cold. The girl just kind of laughed and ignored us. She proceeded to wait on everyone in line. At one point she went into the back room and talked to someone. Finally the man in front of me got disgusted and got in line. Once he did that, she gave me my order. No apologies, nothing. I will think long and hard before I return. Doesn’t seem like they cared to have our business at all.

  • App still bad

    The new app was unusable at launch, became somewhat functional for a bit, and now back to unusable. Rewards don’t work. You can add whatever your reward is to your cart and then apply the and it’ll say you don’t have the items in your cart to quality. Not to mention the point revamp system is awful. Points on the old app were more attainable. Sometimes it won’t let me pick a pick up later time. It’ll only default so an asap time. Just so many problems with this app. This used to be my go to spot for a quick and easy pick up and now I’m lucky if I can place an order.

  • TERRIBLE new app, just leave well enough alone

    I never leave app reviews, but this new app is garbage. Seriously who thought it was a good idea??? Why take a good thing and make it very user UNFRIENDLY?? It was a hassle to create a new account, it kept logging me out and didn’t load my points. If I had known I was going to lose $50 in reward points I would’ve treated my whole family to dinner and used them all before the update. Now my points are barely worth a meal and a dessert. How cheap of HQ to downgrade everyone’s points like that without a heads up.
    So did they consider people who order through the drive-through with this new app?? When I got my order tonight in the drive thru, I asked if she could add my points and she said “sorry I already rang you up.” So I had to open the app, try to login, reset my password, login and put in all the information from the receipt. What a hassle. Scanning the receipt was SO much easier! Seriously just go back to the old one!🤪

  • New update can’t create account

    Their developers need to learn to have better edge case handling. For example, when someone’s phone number changed, but the person before them had an account and the only way to Reset the password or create an account is through that other person’s email, which I obviously don’t have access to making it impossible for me to even create an account anymore. If I could spin up another phone number to create an account, I would, but obviously, that’s not worth changing my phone number for.

  • Slowest workers ever

    Great food, but by far the slowest workers I’ve ever seen. It usually takes 15-20 minutes to get your food for a full line. Last time I came it was a full line and it was chaotic. Literally worst experience I’ve ever had at a costa vida or restaurant in general. The food was sloppy, it took 50 minutes to get our food, it was cold after it sat there on the table for 30 minutes, the tortillas weren’t even cooked thoroughly so it was very doughy. Terrible service, with terrible wait time.

  • Costa vida app review

    I am a blind user of voiceover screen reading software. This app is nearly impossible to use. There are screens in the sign up process like selecting your favorite restaurant and selecting your dob that are not being read and can not be navigated with voiceover. I also can't select choies when ordering a borito or salad because I can't confirm what I have selected and can't even get the app to choose delivery. The store employees are fantastic but this app is garbage. Shame on this company for clearly disregarding all attemts to make things accessible to those of us with vision loss and who use screen reading technology.

  • Missing points

    I have been twice and scanned my app both times. Never received any points. And I thought maybe it would take a day or two but the first time I went was a few weeks ago and still haven’t seen updated points. I went today and my points are still the same. I don’t know why but when I scan in store I haven’t ever received any points. And I didn’t get a receipt because I thought it would automatically load onto my account but it didn’t. Next time I’ll definitely get the receipt, and not scan the app.

  • Horrendous update

    If you already can’t tell from going through these, this update is terrible. My points are all gone, and now I need to call them and get my 70 something points back. Wasn’t able to use my app when I came in because I didn’t realize it needed an update. I had to use the Costa Vida app, the App Store, the Gmail app, and my web browser in order to get my account back, just to get it back with no points. This went from my favorite restaurant as a quick go-to to now really too much of a hassle. Might just be opting for Chipotle or something new now, really off-putting as a very regular customer
