  • Simple and incredibly effective

Wipr is so simple to use and the most effective as blocker for Safari that I have used. It’s rare that an ad gets through and I can’t say I’ve ever had a web page break because of it. Thanks for making such a fab app!
  • Look no further than

I switched to iPhone and Safari two years ago, bought this blocker extension, and haven’t had to think about it since.
  • Amazing app

    Payed once to download it.
    No ads or other hastles.
Works perfectly and stops the annoying pop up ads
10/10 must have if you can spare the money
  • There are better options

Free adguard, ghostery and adblock do better jobs than wipr. I've paid for this app yet its not able to block more the 70% of the trackers and ads while other free apps do. Wipr's lists seem to not be updated frequently. Better to avoid this app and pay for some other blocker.
  • The real deal

This app WORKS. Does exactly what it’s supposed to and in a clean way. It even wipes out YouTube ads. No need for premium.
  • Truly Amazing Ad Blocker

I gotta give props to this app, it’s actually amazing. The database is extremely expansive on top of not collecting any data from the user. Chefs kiss.

The only feature I don’t understand is the Automatic Refresh. What does that even mean for an Ad Blocker? It seems to work just fine in Low Power mode, so I’m lost as to why that feature exists and/or cannot work in Low Power Mode.

Also, the App Store claims that there’s “In-App Purchases” despite there being a flat fee for this app, but I can’t find any so I think that’s a good sign.

Other than those weird confusions, I think this app is the best of its kind and would recommend it to anyone trying to achieve privacy on their device.

  • Seems to work well

Immediately noticed the ridiculous amount of ads as an online manga reader disappeared. Also gets rid of the whole clicking a button, getting sent to another ad on a different website. Very worth it considering most ad blockers want a monthly payment. This only cost me the 2 dollars to buy the app, and that’s it.

  • Reduces YouTube Ads, Doesn’t Stop Them

Ads that used to autoplay with no option to skip, are no longer as intrusive and obnoxious. You still have to click s Skip button to skip them and any other ads that crop up. The Wipr app works with Safari, not the YouTube app. So, you have to use the browser based version of YouTube - which is inferior to the YouTube app.

As time has gone on, the app has been even less effective at stopping YouTube ads.

  • Love Wipr

I purchased Wipr for macOS several months ago now, and just purchased it on iOS. Solid application that has never failed me, never seen a pesky ad or pop-up since installing it. I wish that there was a free adblocker that was as good as this, but you get what you pay for. I’m happy with Wipr, and it’s a small amount of money to help support someone who obviously puts a lot of effort into keeping this on top for ad blockers. Thank you!

  • Doesn’t block YouTube ads (2024)

Other free ad blockers work better. Too bad can’t refund this.
