The worst scam I have ever gotten into. This company’s software glitches so much making you loose not only precious time but money! They also say they can’t do anything about the issue. The customer service part like everyone else says is the absolute worst thing in existence I ever experienced in a company. For urgent issues they take days to respond and don’t provide help at all! This company is an entire joke. Monkeys seem to be handling the job at this point. There are way better softwares out there. STAY AWAY!!!!!

App not working at all
I have the Host account working fine in the webpage but the app is just so hard to log in. To be honestly I haven’t logged in yet after hundreds attempts.
Double booking
The app failed to properly sync our VRBO booking, which led to a double booking, and we did not realize it until the day off. We put them in a nice hotel, which cost us $400, hoping for a good review. There have been several issues with managing VRBO with this service, this one being the worst. They get one more chance or changing to a different manager. FIX IT! It isn't a free service, and there are other options.

Missing some things
The app is overall helpful however it’s a little slow in loading info. Another huge issue for me is that I’m unable to customize the amenities accurately. It doesn’t match up to Airbnb very well. For example, I do not offer a dedicated workspace in the home however it shows up as I do on Airbnb. This happens with several other listed amenities. Unfortunately I can’t make the changes manually on Airbnb because I’m synced with Guesty. Accuracy of listing is so important. Please fix ASAP or I may have to consider using another app.
Another suggestion I have is for users to be able to include emojis in listing descriptions. I don’t understand why that’s not allowed when Airbnb clearly allows it. I see it in several listings.

It will cost you your reputation with guests
I warn anybody considering Guesty to look elsewhere. I happily used Your Porter before Guesty purchased it. After the purchase everything fell apart. First the app turned super glitchy. The I started getting double bookings. Of which, each one I had to personally call the guest and ask them to cancel. I have now had 7 double bookings, 3 in the past 24 hours. The only support I have received is “we are looking into it”. I have received zero calls to help resolve this issue. The worst thing I can do as a host is cancel a guest, I have had to do this 7 times because of this terrible app. This has harmed my business more than it has helped, AND I had to pay them for it.

Great foundation, plagued by bugs (ex: 6.4.2 can’t login)
In its prior incarnation as YourPorter, this was one of the best mobile-first channel managers for STRs. Unfortunately post-acquisition by Guesty the product has failed to stay updated, leaving major flaws in the product that cause core functionality like the booking calendar to fail to load properly, message templates to remain too small to use, and (as of the 6.2.0 update) even the message from their development team to fail to load on launch. Whatever message or update the team had to share is lost in the same bugs and errors as the rest of the product. To the product team: please consider investing as much money into the continued development of the product as you spent acquiring it and attempting to extract additional revenue through things like up selling short term rental insurance.

Was amazing before Guesty bought them out
Was an amazing solution to str property management, until Guesty bought them out. They are intentionally messing up this app to try to get people to switch to their much more expensive (and just as poor to use) property management software. Shame on you Guesty, truly bad business
Slow
App does what I need it too but iCals don’t always work which is a big pain. Customer service takes days to get back with you. App is very slow and doesn’t load sometimes. A lot of room for improvement and I’m in too deep to try a different company.
Needs work
Overall a great idea but the app. Is not reliable. Constantly having to delete and redownload and still not all the features work. There is no one to call for help and no one replies to support messages so if you want to throw your money at something that might work to run your business this is the app for you.

Keeps getting worse
Unfortunately I keep running across show stopping bugs and reliability issues. Auto messages failing to send, cleaner texts failing to send, cleaner scheduling bugs, overall super clunky and buggy app to use. I plan to look for alternatives to replace it because I can’t depend on it for my business.
