  • Needs Saved Sign-In Profiles

    Our anesthesia providers must consistently select a dozen locations from a long list every time they sign into Voalte. We’ve had many instances of communication breakdown because a user hasn’t “signed on correctly”. Why not allow users to create sign-in profiles that save roles, locations, rooms, and teams and allow users to modify as needed? Having multiple saved profiles to choose between would be especially helpful for us.

  • Extreme lag, terrible app, time waster and productivity killer

    While I write this, I am waiting for my colleague’s name to come up in Voalte. It can take up to a minute at times, and I have to type the entire name for Voalte to find it. And sometimes even that doesn’t work. Yes, I have the most recent update. The methods to make groups or use favorites are convoluted and take longer than just looking someone up. We used to have a better app that our company replaced with Voalte, so I know better apps are out there.

  • Needs significant work

    Voalte is an attempted administration driven ‘answer’ to paging. Unfortunately, what has happened, in lieu of streamlining and assisting users is a system that allows for a torrent of misdirected communication, ‘drive by’ critical result sharing (in a haphazard and non read back way), and a user interface that makes my child’s vtech toys look modern. That this app is being hastily implemented despite its clear faults shows the top down approach taken by many hospital systems today. It is likely fostered by a disconnect between the users and the engineers. The customers are administrators far removed from clinical operations who only shallowly know the workflow of those in the clinic and hospitals. This simply represents another, small misguided step taken by our healthcare system monstrosity.

  • Voice memos, Triage, VOIP

    This app needs several modifications: (1) Voice over IP calling without forwarding to primary cell phone number. (2) Message delivery triage and silent message delivery for reduced priority messaging in high volume nocturnal environments. The sender should be able to select when the notification is delivered silently or specify first-time low priority messages delivered on the hour. Non-priority messaging should be able to delay delivery prior to shift change specified by the provider (ie 6AM). (3) Providers should be able to communicate in verbal voice memo messages that are transcribed for reference/subject for faster communication. (4) Voalte team: contact me if you would like physician consultations for a better product. I have used this application for four years.

  • Poor Patient Care App

    This app could be good if it worked as intended. Unfortunately it does not. My main concerns are:
    1) It drains the phones battery at an alarming rate (average 10% an hour, while on available service) 2)The messages remain on sent and don’t deliver to providers regardless of coverage or wifi for 10-15 minutes at times. This is a huge delay to patient care and very likely to cause harm. 3) The app will randomly repeatedly and constantly remain stuck on the opening screen randomly even after being logged in and using it. This prevents us from opening the app to read messages, again delaying patient care and potentially causing harm.

  • Battery drainer. Glitches with logging in.

    This app is an absolute battery killer, drains it so fast. It also frequently will get stuck “logging in” when you re-open the app and keep crashing, delaying reading messages in a timely manner and delaying patient care. Please fix these issues!!!
  • No updates

    As hospital leader ship have met with them numerous times. They do not act on any feedback that you give them. They need a dark mode and better Apple compatibility.
  • Buggy, crashes, no watch support, laggy

    Just horrible. Been using for years and I can’t understand why voalte can’t get itself together to come out with a simple messaging software that works smoothly and seemlessly.
  • Clunky app with limited options

    This app is not inherently bad but there are a significant amount of missed opportunities. While it is great that there is integration with Epic, it will not allow for changing the default epic notification sound. Each time a patient checks in it makes a loud alert. I work with children with disabilities and this tends to upset them. There is an ability to change the alert sound for other messages. This feature should be added too.

  • PLS CAN WE HAVE AUTOCORRECT

    Srsly it can’t be that hard to have it autocorrect the text. It’s so annoying and causes delays in patient care.
