  • Not the best

    App constant crashes and “reconnects”
  • Very buggy and dysfunctional

    The app frequently takes very long to load and crashes frequently. These problems often render the app almost useless. During a typical busy day, it is extremely frustrating to wait for the app in order to read messages from other physicians and from nurses.

    The interface is adequate but not particularly good. There are better secure messaging apps for healthcare on the market that are far more reliable and user friendly. Having used this app for over a year now, I do not recommend it.

  • Good idea, bad execution

    A HIPAA compliant texting app. It’s a good idea and is a nice tool when it works. Super buggy, unstable and crashes. Very slow and doesn’t actually update after reading a message so it still shows an alert that you have a message even after you’ve read it. I use it because my organization adopted it so I have no choice. Needs a lot of work before I’d recommend it, however.

  • Time sink

    I really want to like this app. It’s really nice that I can see the care team assigned to each of my patients and look up the leadership assigned to each floor of my hospital.

    I spend SO much of my day waiting for this app to load. I get notifications that I have a new message but when I open the app, it hasn’t loaded the message yet. I often have to force quit the app and reopen it to get it to load the message, and sometimes the process of opening the app and waiting for it to auto-login takes upwards of a minute. I get hundreds of pages a day and waiting for this app to load is not a good use of my time all day.

  • Disappointed

    Badges don’t go away after opening the app. It keeps showing that I have unread messages. I either must delete the thread or close and re open the app to get rid of the badge. App recently updated and the problem remains. Very disappointed
  • Notifications do not clear

    When I receive messages I get a notification (red dot with number) on the app icon that does not clear when the message is read. So it constantly shows that I have missed messages. This is really inconvenient especially as a physician who is in constant contact with staff.

  • Upgrade issues

    Recently it appears my voalte went thru an upgrade. The new screen is finer print and less bolder than the old screen, making it difficult to read at times. I already have the messages set to max size, however it is hard to see the other screens, such as my main screen with my favorites listed. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Still many errors with newest update

    Newest update came to my app/hospital a few days ago (august 2021) still shows unread messages after they have been read. Have to completely close out of app (swipe it up on Apple iPhone) then open app back up for messages fo clear.
  • Glitchy. Still a pain in the car.

    More glitchy with the latest update. Notification flags won’t go away even after reading messages. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider making the app compatible with Apple CarPlay. Would be extremely useful when on call!
