  • Terrible

    Keep having problems. Freezes all the time now I keep getting this”enable refresh background “ all the time . And it’s set already for that.
  • Alert volume is too low

    I would never rely on Voalte for critical communications. The alert volumes are too low and not adjustable. The Voalte voice is unreliable. Definitely needs an upgrade before it should be widely adopted.
  • Poor at communication when that is the whole point

    This app shouldn’t be released for actual use and should still be in beta. Messaging with physicians should be reliable. I often have to open the app intermittently to check for messages and then will get a rush of push notifications instead of them coming through in a timely manner. My settings for notifications are correct but it’s an error in the app.

    Also, I cover several sites and this application does not allow for those profiles to be active so I am forced to carry two phones even though one of them is not even active so that I can use both accounts.

    This app might have promise but I feel it is far below the threshold for active clinical use and it’s performance is inadequate, especially when compared with the TigerText and Perfect Serve apps that I use at my other hospitals that I cover.

    Developers... please! Please, fix this app since the hospital clearly won’t change. You are impeding my ability to do my job as a physician.

  • Badge count needs fixed.

    Overall application works well. Badge count gets off frequently and requires application reset. This wastes time multiple times throughout the day. As this is a medical application missing one message is not possible. So it takes a lot of checking the app when the badge account still shows a new message when it already has been reviewed.

    Would be really nice if you could increase text size and it would automatically stay instead of having to change it every time you use the app

    Hello! This is already available for hospitals running the 3.7 server version. Once your hospital upgrades, you will be able to retain the font size across sessions. Thank you for reaching out!
  • Not a bad app but issues

    Our institution rolled out Voalte over the past year. I have found it to be effective to communicate with other physicians, staff and nurses.

    Unfortunately there are still some issues that make it less affective, particularly on the mobile version. Due to security they have disabled the ability to quickly dictate a message back. This requires me to have to use my phones to “type“ a message. This is obviously not affective. I believe there are ways to add on some sort of voice dictation software to allow for improved medication.

    Additionally the fact that I cannot see the actual messages on my lock screen or on my Apple Watch is frustrating as well. Every time I receive a message I have to pull my phone out and then open it up and “type“ my reply. Ideally I would be able to use my watch to see the message and hopefully reply. Alternatively see the message and reply to it, as I do for most messages, from my lock screen would be much more efficient.

    As it is currently it is functional but could be much improved. At this stage I don’t know that I would recommend it to other people. I don’t know if there are better options out there I was I was not part of the organizational push for this to work.

    Hello and thank you for your feedback! The ability to use talk to text was added in our most recent release. Enabling this feature is a decision we leave up to the hospital administration team as it is dependent on the hospital compliance policy. As far as the request for message preview, we will take that feedback into consideration. Feel free to reach out to our support team with any additional questions!
  • Need to be able to change alert sounds

    App works great, but can’t change the alert to something annoyingly loud to wake me up at night while on-call!
  • Needs “Critical Alerts”

    This app needs to implement the critical alerts function ASAP. This is a must for on call providers

    It drains the battery. It is the app that consumes the most battery life. It works well
  • Very helpful app!

    Nicely tied into Voalte Platform and works consistently. The interface is now very similar to Voalte One and they are constantly updating it. Battery usage is only 1% for me and I have it running all the time.
