With Regards to Sound Only
Absolutely one of the best. I will add that the fit in my ear is superb. Easy to place in ear with a great and effective seal every time, and they stay where you put them. Their durability and water resistance is also incredible. Light weight, yet obvious high quality without a doubt, not that weight and quality are related, but people do comment about that. I have literally sampled maybe 30 other comparable products of prices ranging from $30 to $500, and these are my favorite. I like them so much that I couldn’t write a review without saying all of these great things. This is an honest and independent review.

Easy To Use and Understand
I was initially wary about downloading the app because I thought it would be another janky EQ modification app. After downloading it I was happy to see all the different ways you could personalize your listening experience, such as through EQ, Button mapping, or other cool features. This website also allows for nifty profile presets and settings that can be carried over from different devices. I have two phones that vary in sound quality, but with the app I can just sign in and change the EQ settings to what suits me. It’s a bit overwhelming at first with how much freedom you have, but that’s never a bad thing. 5/5! 👍

Works only 40-50% of the time
My X4 earphones connect flawlessly via Bluetooth to my iPhone 11 and my iPhone 12 Pro. They connect each and every time. This app is another matter entirely. When it works, it’s great to be able to track where you last had your earphones and to save EQ settings. The problem is that it will only connect to the earphones 40-50% of the time. I’ve now had several “upgrades” of this app. Each time, they fiddle with the graphics but they don’t seem to bother with making it work. I’ve gone through *all* of the troubleshooting steps on their site. I’ve even filed Support Tickets. And they don’t ever get back to me. The earphones are great. This app is just plain awful and should be dropped by both Jaybird and the App store.

Bluetooth interference in busy areas
As a company that advertises their headphones as being great for exercise, I’m finding that at the gym, Bluetooth interference is insane. Anytime I’m around a group of people with headphones in (not just other Jaybirds) my music gets choppy. When I’m secluded, everything is fine. Even when connected to the app, the interference is ridiculous. I’ve talked to my girlfriend about her AirPods and she doesn’t have that issue. For just a few dollars more, I could be listening to similar quality music with more amenities and less interference simply by switching to Apple. I gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed.

Great features!
While audiophiles often suggest that equalizers are not necessary since studio engineers already optimize music recordings, it’s a nice feature to have available, especially if you’re in an area with lots of background noise or have ears sensitive to lows or highs. And speaking of areas with background noise, the active noise canceling (ANC) does work well with the Vista2 earbuds. I’ve not yet had to use the GPS tracking, but it also seems to work.
If you do choose an equalizer setting, I highly recommend Raul Ochoa Hernandez’s “Bose signature sound” for a richer listening experience from your earbuds. It’s not too bass-y, which is nice.
~ Be mindful though: it does increase the volume, so turn your volume down before using it. ~

Jaybird Vista 2 Earbuds
I have just been sent a replacement pair of Vista 2’s for my old Vistas that had failed after just under a year. The new earbuds are just excellent, easy to connect, switch between devices easily and fab battery life there is some upgraded functionality which is an improvement on the original earbuds, I just hope that these last longer than a year this time. I’ve given them 4 stars as I think the push button controls should be touch sensors as the buttons you have to physically push only forces the earbuds further into your ear and can be quite painful if your not careful, but well done Jaybird for producing such and excellent product as a price point most will find very competitive.

Great app for a great product!
I’ve been a fan of Jaybird products for years and recently upgraded to the Jaybird Vista 2’s which work seamlessly with the app to adjust the sound to match my tastes exactly. If there was one thing I wish that could be improved with the app, it’s that in the button assignment screen, I only have limited options as to what control can be assigned to what gestures. The way it currently is, I cannot have volume controls AND Siri activation programmed at the same time as they are limited to the same activation gesture.

Very happy with my pods.
I got these as a present from my children. Haven’t looked back. I keep everyone happy as I can watch my rubbish with affecting anyone 🤣🤣🤣
Vista 2 awesomeness
Can’t explain how convenient these are. Working , working out, mowing grass, loud noises, everything I use them doing everything now. Love the button controls on how to change them, and that’s just the ear buds. I’ve lost them twice now and was able to find them thankfully cause I had set up the app, and location. Love being able to tell the battery level for when I’m not going to be around a charger very happy with these. Hope they let way longer than my last 39$ Bluetooth sets did and that was a while.
