Not working — under a month old

Under a month and it’s just a very expensive bottle I can’t put in the dishwasher.
Do not buy.

Sometimes shows that I have drank a negative total for the day, somehow. In the last two days, I checked the app to see my progress, and it was -200 and something and -300 and something on each day (despite many manual positive entries) It also has been resetting progress for the day to 0, with my entries still listed below.

It’s started doing this multiple times per day. I’ll re-add the amounts (even though they’re still listed below, in the list of servings), and it’ll reset to 0 or a negative number a short time later.

I get a lot of phantom entries (worth a significant amount in total) when not using the bottle. (I recalibrate the sensors regularly, as directed.) I’ve owned the bottle for less than a month.

Cannot recommend. It was great for the first 48 hours and I was *very* happy with it, but it has a life of two weeks (or whenever you first encounter the bug).

App does not support password managers

This app is not WCAG compliant. It should support password managers for people with disabilities.

Core functionality behind Paywall

Asking me to pay a subscription to pick a colour, are you serious? I mean there are some scams out there in apps that shouldn’t exist, background audio YouTube, playlists Amazon Music, etc… but for an app controlled hardware device, of a freaking water bottle, not letting me pick a colour? Insane.

Even with intentional setup and use. It doesn’t flash when I should drink, the lights just turn on when I test in the app.

Battery barely lasts a day.

However more specifically to the app, It just doesn’t make for a good experience, I just want to see how much water I’ve drank, how much I should be drinking in the next hour, and how close I am to my goal, everything else is extra and shouldn’t obscure these necessities.

At least the bottle was free for me, don’t buy it otherwise!

Terrible Customer Support

2024 EDIT: My puck in my device will no longer hold a charge. I spent my own money replacing the cable and many MANY hours troubleshooting. I’ve asked customer support multiple times for a battery replacement but instead of giving me a solution, they blame me for allegedly not knowing how to use a charging cable. I explained my problems multiple times and they kept giving me new people to talk to with the last representative asking me for my purchase order on the cable because “your messages seem to indicate your order was not delivered.” I’m assuming the customer support is entirely Ai based on this response. I’ve asked for a phone number, a real person. I’m at a loss with this brand and I highly suggest all steer clear.

While the water bottle itself is incredibly beautiful and works pretty well, the app has a lot of room for improvement. The app doesn’t really make it clear what percentage the battery is charged to and I still don’t fully understand when I need to open the app. The app navigation is also mildly confusing and jarring. For example; in the top right of the app right now the word NEW is there. Tapping on it opens a flyer about their new colors available for bottles. I think this app would benefit from a store page/tab rather than just advertising on the Home Screen. The UI is a bit ugly in a few places and can feel a little outdated at times. Try

Bugs

I like the water bottle and tracking. However in the recent months my app is constantly showing “0” even though it constantly adds milliliters. It resets to 0 every time I open the app.

Brilliant

I love the app & the ability to keep track of the amount of water I consume. If there is one gripe I have with the app it’s not being about to determine the percentage of the battery. Adding a percentage to the battery would be great otherwise I am loving the app.

The app is no longer working in iOS. It doesn’t open any more since this morning. It stopped updating around 6:30 this morning. Could you please check to see if you can fix it.

Disappointed

Same as many others. I’m disappointed after buying an expensive product and being given crumbs of an app unless I fork out more money. Totally greedy and I wish I knew the company were like this before supporting them with my purchase of two bottles. Full regret and pretty disgusted.

I've had my bottle for about a year and a half. It was a gift, when I received it I paid for the access to the Glow Studio to change the colour of the lights on my Hydratespark Pro bottle. I went to use it to change the colours the other day and discovered this feature is now behind a monthly paywall subscription! So what happened to the premium feature I paid for and use before? It seems I have been robbed as I cannot see a restore purchases button anywhere, the feature I paid money to use before has been stolen and put behind a monthly paywall. Daylight robbery by this company.
