Oddly dysfunctional

Not tied in to my desktop app logon or data?? Can download trips manually, but can’t book?

Very odd and completely in line with my overall Amar GBT experience which varies between bad and dreadful depending on the day.

This app works great all the time after the last update, I travel often for work and have been using it for years, also developers do read comments and complaints, thank you for your response, your app works great. Below is my previous comment..

It was working great for me until this last update, now every time when trying to login it forecloses the app, please fix, I travel a lot for my company and this app is a must have for me, because we book everything through American Express Global Travel.

BTW using iPhone X.

Didn't pull through existing trips

Corp email, fortune 100.

Went through hassle of creating yet another account so I could log into app, rather than it using SSO.

Didn't pull any of my existing GBT trips.

Seems pretty pointless to me.

Calendar Link Broken

Have used this app for about 1.5 years. Previous version had calendar link which automatically added travel to your calendar. However, update broke calendar functionality and app crashes when you attempt to add a trip to your calendar. Please fix!!

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. We did include a fix of adding your itinerary to your calendar under the 'Share Itinerary' option on your trip. Please download the most recent version of the app (4.1.7) to experience this feature and let us know your feedback.

Not particularly useful

Open the app to a page with the slogan “Book how you want, when you want”. Click through that takes you to a messaging page where if it’s not office hours you’ll be told it’s only for general enquiries. So which bit of “when you want” do Amex not understand?

Might be good if it actually worked

I have tried, several times to use this app for my travel. My company books through AMEX GBT. AMEX GBT can’t even get Travel, that they booked, to show up in their own app. I have tried getting help from their tech support, but they are useless. All I get is emails saying “We are working on the problem” or “it’s fixed and we are closing your case”. I gave you many chances. I have been trying to get the app to work for 2 months.

Nice update

Just updated to the new app and impressed with the changes. Very clean looking and the icons on the bottom of the screen are great.

Not new but have always liked the ability to book a trip from door to door, including ground transportation, rather than just airport to airport.

Font sizes are too small

Very fine lines, tiny light grey type. Forget it if you don’t have young healthy vision

No luck with this app or support for it

I missed the verification email and then it expired. No way to resend it - so I am stuck for over a week waiting for the tech support team to resend it.
Tripit and tripcase apps work so much better.
