Worst car ever in UAE

Faulty app, full of bugs !
App pay option is available but it doesn’t go through and then it charged me 30aed penalty !
Had to call customer service for everything !
Document verification is old and slow. Error while closing the booking and had to call customer service again. All this time was on customer !
Avoid at all costs.

Poor app

I used Ekar for the first time. The app is a bit cumbersome to use - a quite average at best user experience.

Upon getting the car, it wasn’t cleaned and I had to remove the previous users’ soda cans and water bottles (during covid times)

There is really no explanation when trying to park the car somewhere. Very vague rules about ‘zones’ and I had to travel back to my ‘finished’ booking, to drive around looking for suitable parking.

Upon ending the trip, you press the key on your phone to lock, the app crashes and the car stays unlocked.

Absolutely shocking app.

Overcharged For Everything. Beware.

They overcharged me for extra day and when I contacted them, they “gave me credit” instead of refunding me the money.

I was also charged 150AED as non refueling fee, which I wasn't made aware off.

Don't waste your time.

Bad UX Design

Your service is really awesome, but the app lacks a lot of user experience. And need more user testing and Ux research.

There is a lot of missing behaviors.

You can book a car, and once you reach the car, it doesn’t start. And when i called the service center they told me that this car is not working please choose another one.
(So why your putting not functional cars on the map?)

Second, I booked a car for a month, the delivery spots said its between 12-3 pm when i finalized the booking it showed me that the car is pending and the delivery is between 3-6pm, and after calling many times the support told me that this car is not available and we have one but its doubled the price. (1- why ur putting unavailable cars on the list? 2- if the car is not available why I dont receive any message or alert that this car is not available? 3- why do you make the user wait all these hours and at the end you said its not available?)

I like your service! And i like your cars! But please get a proper UX Designer and fix the app!! Thank you ♥️

Worst customer service ever

I have numerous issues on numerous occasions with their customer services. Terrible attitude and 0 willingness to show any regard to customer issues. Don’t waste your money with them.

Rip off

They rip you off and use your car
Some cars not even opening and nor clean and doesn’t disinfect their cars during COVID PANDEMIC

Charges for everything

It is stupid that the company charges 1 aed for updating credit card. And dubai is high on tourism and they ask lot of documents for a tourist and also charge a security deposit of 2000 aed. It also charges cleaning fees but majority of the time the car is not really clean. Would highly recommend to stop charging for updating information.

Constantly charge your card

They constantly charge your card for new fees and won’t help you. The person in customer service is heartless sms doesn’t give a crap.

They don’t care

Used the service once and after locking the car they block my account because they couldn’t make the debit card debit???? Now I have to pay 30 DHS penalty for not been able to pay with the card (as they said) when I told them the issue they tried again and went through but STILL banned and asked to pay.
Wrote several emails but they just don’t care about clients.

Far worse than expected

One time started a trip but the car never opened. Had to call ekar customer service and they told me the car doesn’t work, they wouldn’t return the money to my bank account. Second time I was charged an extra 30 AED. It just seems that they are thieves trying to get your money without giving you a proper service
