  • Good app for scheduling

    I switched to Goldie from a competing scheduling app. I’ve stayed with this app for the ease of use and ability to understand my schedule at a glance. Having the ability to set specific services up with its own color makes it especially easy to understand how to coordinate my appointments. I have been happy with the updates as they have come available. This latest one is a bit frustrating but still usable. To send a message (as I use the free version) takes 4 clicks before sending, which is unfortunate. The recurring appointment has a definite end so be aware of that when doing standing appointments that you wish to continue indefinitely. I love being able to snap and send a pic of my clients schedule and they appreciate it as well rather than 1 appointment at a time. Overall I am very pleased with the Goldie app experience.

  • JUST A FEW CONCERNS

    I have used the app almost a year now. For the most part it is GOOD. I have a deposit set for all clients, 50% of the service total. Sometimes I have to book a client here or there and it does not ALWAYS set the 50% for all clients and I have to go in and set it. This also happens with a client setting the appointment as well. It can be very frustrating for both the client and myself. I have to cancel their appointment and start over agin.

    Then I have my payment payout account on file and it takes longer than it had been before. I should be able to change a card method in my account without it starting over and making me wait for 2-3 days with all transactions. For an example if I do a service on Friday I don’t get those payments til Monday. When before my payment come at the end of every day. That was the best thing ever. That ONE problem is almost worth going somewhere else. Ppl need their money and having to wait after getting used to getting it each day is frustrating as well. Just something to look into ESPECIALLY since getting paid daily was suppose to be an upgrade for us.

  • Impressed! A must have for a busy small business.

    I tried enrolling in a couple of Goldies competitors (before finding Goldie) for automated text reminders for my clients to help free up some of my “off” time each week. I was promptly rejected from one because I didn’t have an opt in option and the other I never received an email so I could even set up my account! What a racket.

    This app out performed them regardless! It offers so many additional features those other apps didn’t. Best part they send the opt in text for you!! Didn’t have to lift a finger.

    It easily integrated my extensive Apple calendar with no hiccups and importing client contacts was a breeze. I was able to select only clients instead of my entire contact list. - Thank you!

    I have been using it for a couple weeks now getting the hang of the process and working out the kinks (tech learning curve and plenty of user error but that’s on me lol). I am beyond impressed with this app.
    It’s very customizable and user friendly. Excellent product!

  • Syncing issues

    I really like the app and I do not want to switch as I have a lot of info stored in this app. However, the syncing ability is less than par. I use two devices to do my scheduling and it seems like there’s always an issues with the devices syncing up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, which made the sync worse. I feel like I can’t trust the sync and have to double check both devices all the time which is very frustrating and time consuming!! There should be a sync button. The whole uninstall and reinstall shouldn’t be a thing. If the syncing doesn’t get better in the near future I will have to seek a different scheduling app :(

  • Appointments disappearing and no resolve

    I am so so disappointed in this app. I just use the basic free plan while I grow my business and planned to use the paid for version when I needed it. However upon opening my app last week the majority of appointments from August onwards have disappeared. Some clients have lost all of their appointments for the year except for the odd one or two. I contacted the help section but the replies I received were really unhelpful and then I was told it had been resolved even though it hadn’t. Unfortunately now I don’t trust the app AT ALL, and would really advise anyone against using it. The app has worked fine for the most part and it’s a little strange that the disappearing appointments seem to be coinciding with constant app updates. Something is obviously going on behind the scenes, to the peril of my client bookings.

  • Great booking app!

    I absolutely love this app more than any other scheduling your booking up. I’ve come across everything about it is perfect. The only thing that I would really really love to see updated or configured is with the online booking I wish we could input pictures of our portfolio. As for example on a dog groomer, and would like to put pictures of my work of my grooms for clients to see before they book appointments with me so they can judge my work based off of my portfolio and decide if they want to continue going further with an appointment or not I would really really really love to see the feature of being able to put pictures on our online booking pages

  • Useful but….

    I use this app daily for scheduling clients for work… but for paying $10 a month it should include a few more things, especially the auto reminders.. Also sometimes the app has a glitch, almost like it’s froze up!??!? UPDATE…. I recently switch to the premium plan….. not only does it not send out the extra reminders…. however, they did try to fix it I think? But is ended up not working… On top of you only get 500 messages per month to be sent out via automated…. Anything more cost extra and won’t allow you to send out manually…. SERIOUSLY IT WAS THE ONLY REASON I UPGRADED TO THE PREMIUM!!!! I don’t have time for this especially running a salon with 7 workers, and having 2000+ clients of my own! I’m switching to square booking. Thanks for basically robbing me and having an app that only works half the time! 😐

  • Don’t get to many clients or you will pay!!!

    If you are successful and have many clients Goldie makes you pay extra for text messages. Don’t go over 160 characters or Goldie makes you pay. Goldie sends 2 messages per booking. And then another if it is new client. Sure you can pay for more. But I promise you that you will blow through them. I purchased 250 more messages and suddenly I had none after a week. Contacted them and same runaround. I love red my message count to 112 and still team out. Bought a year and not I am screwed. Can not get a refund because I am 4 months in. Used to work fine!!! Goldie offered to refund my money but I would have to go through the apple App Store. Guess what?!? Too much time has passed for apple. So I am screwed. I will NEVER recommend this app. I guess it is good if you only have 10 clients. Shame on you Goldie !!!

  • Great appointment app

    I Absolutely love this App. I’ve been using it for about 3 years in my beauty salon. It organises my appointment diary, sends reminders to my clients to prevent no-shows. Let’s me see the revenue I’ve made for the day or week or month. If there is ever any issues the organisers email back straight away and have it sorted very quickly. Highly recommend.
