Terrible app - won’t allow sign in
This is a terrible app - the sign in does not work the vast majority of the time so you’re left with no content to read. No reply from support either. Hopeless on every level and an absolute waste of money - want a refund but I suspect getting that will be just as difficult. Worst app I’ve ever bought. Very annoyed!Show lessMhjc

It is absolutely impossible to sign in. There is nowhere to enter my password and the email link just puts me around in a circle. There are articles I want to read, but I can’t access them.

Login Nightmare
I can see others have been having the problem too. I am constantly booted out, required to log in, then told to do it again and again. Very frustrating, especially since this is one of the few services I pay for the premium membership!Baekids
Crashes constantly
Crashing while reading articles and takes several attempts - if at all - to log in asking for a password each time I try to use it. I end up giving up.Badchoice

Non functioning app
If you want to subscribe and read this it has to be from your computer. Also, the news doesn’t change very often. I think they are having growing pains. I wrote and received automatic responses with dead links. Very frustrating. Paige finally wrote and offered a refund.
The same thing happens with my subscription. The never ending sign in loop on the phone and the apologetic emails with dead links and finally Paige writing to offer a refund. I didn’t want a refund, I want to support this really great idea.

Local- Fix your login loop!

I have just been using just the web browser for the Local which now has this ridiculous loop of logging me out. Whenever I try to read an article, I get a pop-up that requires me to login so I click for it to send myself an email link to login and the process just repeats over and over again and I can’t read any articles even though it says I am logged in! So I downloaded the app thinking maybe that would help the situation but it’s the same problem! Until this is fixed, I am canceling my subscription.Show less505lkr
App not working
The Local is a great source of news if you’re an English speaker living in Europe. But the app has been bugging for the past several weeks and gives an error notice each time that I try to open it up. Please fix this.PMC0117
