OK but doesn’t save IP address and password
Refuses to believe my hassbian IP and password is in the correct format, and won’t save it (though it will connect just fine - go figure). As I have to manually enter the IP and password every time I connect, its kind of useless.
Not A Great Companion
Would you be happy with a companion who forgets your name constantly and then forces you to spell it out completely each time? That’s the way I feel about this app that is incapable of storing the URL for any length of time, forcing you to retype it entirely each time it loses it. Ironically, there’s a default URL for the HA instance you’re running - so how hard can it be for this app to default to it? In fact, you’re better off just bookmarking the URL in your browser and forgetting about this app.

Crashes instantly on start
Re-installed several times but no joy. Forums suggested starting in flight mode, and sure enough it loads. However, when I enter my home assistant address and password it won’t let me save it without a network connection - and turning that on crashes the app. That’s a pretty serious bug.
Great app
This app is greet and doesn’t leave you wanting much!
3D Touch actions would be fantastic on the app’s icon for quick actions (like unlocking a door), a widget would be nice so you could easily see some statuses or whatever.

Great Home Assistant app!
I love this app. For anyone looking into home control and home automation, Home Assistant is an open source (free) platform for control and automation of all your devices. This iOS app is the mobile companion that gives you access to all the same views and features as you'd have while at home. With frequent updates and ample support, you can't go wrong. A huge thanks to the developers that put their time into this!! Great app!!

Great app for interfacing with Home Assistant
Keep up the great work! This just keeps getting better and better. Once Home Assistant (HA) is set up (on a computer device) this app allows location tracking, notifications and all the features of the web interface but more responsive.
Awesome HA integrations
Makes iOS notifications a piece of cake even for a noob.
excellent control
built by a bunch of geniuses. this app does exactly what you need it to do. excellent support community and some great stuff coming soon. must have. 11/10 hecking good boy. would download again. can confirm. did download again. still hecking good.
Great Stable App
After waiting for years for some company to come in and dominate the home automation scene I came across the Home-Assistant project and was amazed. This app is a fantastic compliment to the system and works flawlessly and is rock solid stable.
Really good app
This works great, and gives a much nicer cleaner interface than bringing up HA on a web page in a browser.
I think there may be a bug in the iPad version as I am unable to get the location service working. When I select enable in preferences for location updates, the app freezes. This happens on both my iPads (air and pro). I don't have an iPhone to test it on.
Text notifications work good though. Haven't tried the more complicated notifications yet.
I note that in system configuration under privacy/location services, that the home assistant app doesn't show up. This may indicate that there is something missing in the pilist file (think I remember name correctly) in the xtools iOS development environment.
