  • Absolute garbage! Unable to add station

    Save your money. But another brand! I am a tech guy and this station brand new out of the box would never sync with accurite’s app. Had to use weather underground until their API broke. Now this is a worthless weather station for remote monitoring purposes. Shame on you Accurite! Fix your iris weather stations or offer people a refund or upgrade because this is egregious!!!! I will never own another Accurite because of this horrible experience.

  • Doesn’t work

    Acu-Rite, in my opinion, used to be the best personal weather system you could buy. Lately, they are really not meeting the grade. I have tried on multiple occasions to get this app to recognize my unit. It will not. I keep getting the alert that my “device must be connected to the Internet and reporting data”. It accurately reports to weather underground, and also using PWS Monitor. By far better apps. Don’t waste your time with this one.

  • Need to have accurate location ability and changeable Alexa phrase

    So far everything seems to be working fine. connection was fine. You need to be able to update the Alexa skill phrase. The assigned one is ridiculous, you should be able to set the phrase to your device name. When functionality is updated my review will be adjusted accordingly. Also, your country list is sadly lacking. Thankfully weather underground has good location information because the acurite app only covers a tiny tiny inadequate bit of the globe, and has absolutely no clue where my weather station is located, but wants me to share my weather. That is really questionable there for accuracy sake. As a weather reporting device you should allow a location from literally ANYWHERE on the globe.

  • App won’t add device

    I have had an Iris station for many years. All if the sudden the PC connect windows program crashes every time I open it. Re downlowaded it and nothing works. That made this app useless. I got an HD display as an upgrade and this app will not add my device. I can see it on Weather Underground just fine. I even emailed Acurite for help and got no response. Last Acurite product I will by. Customer service and software is a joke. Use Weather Underground and PWS app, your station will work with these.

  • Not easy

    AcuRite you have got to step up the game. Customers are paying possibly over 100 bucks for certain weather stations. There needs to be an easier way than this. I have a college degree in a more than capable of doing general connections.

    1) can’t share with weather underground. Multiple attempts
    2) app crashes
    3) LCD display drops internet connection. (I have a strong Internet connection to the display)
    4) customer support where are you. Only option is email (wow) and live chat.

    The good off the initial is that the censor is talking to display and I received all parts. This is an absolute struggle. Willing to give more stars once connected.

    Added extra star we have connection and finally sharing with weather-underground. After I gave up it connected. Once connected it has been a reliable connection.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We understand if you would like to talk to someone over the phone. We do have a callback support option that's available on the site Monday - Friday. Typically support is able to give you a call within an hour of your request. We hope we're able to get this corrected for you soon.
  • Missing a lot of abilities

    The app is missing a lot of important abilities like resetting all data and information back to 0, resetting individual readings, resetting lightening strikes. There is no Millibar option, recordings displays history options only offer a view range of “Today” “Last 24hrs” “Last 7days” etc. there should be the ability to pick whatever you want such as last two days or last 37 hours for example, and much more. The app itself only updates once ever 15 sec I think so you are not getting accurate information right away. The app is seriously lacking a lot of through into detail and beautification. It’s extremely simple and boring and very slow to react and load with nearly no settings or options to make anything work better for you. The weather stations such as the Atlas are collecting so much information that the app is just not using to it full potential in any way shape or form.

Just a heads up you can use the Custom option on the charts to select any date range that you would like. We'll try to make this more clear in the future.
  • Apple Watch access needed.

    So far I’ve been happy with this application. It’s had its shortcomings and most of my complaints have already been discussed and most answered. I would suggest that this application be available through my Apple Watch though. If you have a timeline or a beta version to test please let me know...
  • Terrible App

    I was unable to sign up for an account on the app. When I entered in my information, I kept getting a red banner below saying “Not Found.” So I signed up online, received the welcome email, and tried to login... not possible. I now get an error that my email is invalid. I tried to sign up again and same result. I reached out to support and have not heard anything. I only downloaded this piece of crap because the Ouray Ice Park suggested it. Good thing there are literally a hundred other weather apps out there. Extremely frustrating and don’t waste your time.

  • Not as Bad as People State

    AcurRite Atlas Weather Station with Direct to Wi-Fi and Lightning Detection. Not as bad as others stated. Yes I had a hard time trying to load the app but was patient to wait for customer service to open. Monday morning I was first in que and before you knew it I was up and running and on Weather Underground. The outdoor unit does look crooked when perfectly level, but works like it should.

  • Don’t Buy Acurite Equipment

    Cannot create an account with the app (gives error of “not found”) so you cannot use your equipment. Could not create an account through the website either. A quick read of recent reviews suggests this is an ongoing problem.

    Went online to support, was 2nd in line in support chat. After waiting over 90 minutes I just gave up.

    Strongly suggest staying away from this app and company.
