Terrible App but WHY?!?!
Example - challenges. Most of the time people don’t get the challenge. Challenges should be completely contained in the app - no need to send an email invite, just select from a list of Co-workers/friends who would then simply get a notification and could accept or decline. I’ve told our employees to just ignore the private challenges and set them up as open so others can just search l, find and join.
Another example - the fitness beacon. The app should recognize a fitness beacon and automatically give you the points. Instead, it makes you log in, find the “Beacon” button (which is not easy as it’s buried under “account”) then swipe and click to get points - give me a break! We’ve had a beacon for 6 months and it was just pointed out to us that it’s not automatic - you MUST go through these steps for points. Ridiculous!
It hates iPhones
Almost a perfect execution. Didn’t stick the landing.
My suggestions for possible additions would be a graph of some sorts, to show overall progress or even progress towards a goal. Also, my an addition of a hydration section. Keeping hydrated and drinking water have numerous health benefits. This might be a stretch, but putting in a section for smokers that are quitting to keep track of there progress and how much they are smoking might make it more helpful to hit a certain goal.
This may be unrelated, but the Walmart partnership is a fantastic idea for both revenue ad health. The problem is, the new Walmart pickup service does not support the use of the healthy discount card. I would like to see an integration of these two services.
Great app and program
Glitches with Beacon check-ins
Too confusing & unrealistic to be worthwhile
Probably the worst part though is how convoluted it is to understand how you got points in the first place. You have to maintain a specific threshold increase in heart rate over your resting for an extended period of time to get points from tracking heart rate. That is just one example. Not to mention the fact that it does not sync regularly but you have to open the app to get it to pull over.
This could be much more straight forward in execution and more generous for actually staying healthy and then it would be useful, but now it seems like a waste of time.
Hit & Miss
Not all apps/devices are created equal and apparently sync as they please (certainly not consistent). It would be an easy 5 stars if it would connect to all the apps it lists as compatible.
A recurring error seems to be when trying to connect other apps via Facebook—this app won’t acknowledge that I am logged in to FB and continuously prompts me to login.. again.. and again. No success on all of them yet.
Helpful App
Terrible and buggy
Great, but some issues...
1. I have trouble signing in every night. Yes, EVERY! During the day, I get in with no problem, but not at night. It either gives me an alert or it just sits on the blue screen as though it’s thinking...and thinking.
2. I think it’s great to get bucks for doing activities and having certain tests done, but I think there should be one more test added: a mammogram. Since some of the activities are difficult to do for certain reasons or not possible for many people (like giving blood), a mammogram is such a major factor in detecting breast cancer that we should be rewarded for getting our annual mammogram. Just my opinion though. :)
Response from developer
Thank you K milkdud for reaching out. I will try to address each concern expressed here, but advise you call our customer service if you are having any other issues, as I would like to ensure you are having a five star experience. 1. I believe your issue logging in at night is tied to a connectivity. Either your home network or cell service is potentially having issues, or Go365 updates early in the year may have caused delays in your experience. If the issue has not gotten better as the year progressed, then I would suggest either ensuring wifi is on and working, or try turning it off to see if you have better luck on your cellular service to identify the issue. 2. We actually do award for mammograms in go365, but mammograms and colonoscopy's are based on a user's specific information, like gender and age. Those specific rules sit on the webssite as part of the Recommended Activities and web experience that has a little more complexity to it. So please be sure to check it out to ensure you are getting rewarded for your healthy behaviors. We value you taking the time to share feedback and ideas, thank you. I hope you have continued to enjoy the app and welcome more feedback. In good health.
