Auto top up feature needs to be more flexible

This app should allow you to have more flexibility with the auto top up. I’m just getting started as a delivery driver and need to account for all expenses. My balance went below £10 and the app automatically charged my account £20 to top up my available balance which I wasn’t prepared for. Also the accuracy of hours I use as a driver who pays hourly is off and considering the app is linked to my uber eats account it should be more accurate to charge me accordingly.

Pay as you go policies are literally theft.

If you have a pay as you go policy Zego are stealing from you and you should start a complaint with them and then the Financial Ombudsman when Zego try to fob you off with nonsense. Their pay as you go policies are so inaccurate they are overcharging people probably 1 hours premium per day extra. No wonder they are worth over £1 billion as it’s fraudulently gained from food delivery drivers. ***If you are thinking of taking out a policy as a pay as you go customer DONT!!*** This is a blatant conspiracy to commit fraud on a nationwide scales to the tune of tens of millions!!!
They have recently changed the company that underwrites the Pay as you go policies and I noticed they have unlawfully added 50p per hour to my already high rate.
I will be cancelling my policy as it’s daylight robbery. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with and genuinely defrauding food delivery drivers across the country.

Dodgy

They have cancelled my pay as you go insurance for inactivity even after I've followed their instruction to keep it active. Now they are refusing to open a new policy and don't give any reason for that! "Sorry we just can't". My details haven't changed at all from my last policy. So now I can't do deliveries on the side to get some extra cash just because they are playing with people.

EDIT - I've been told to contact them again and quote the case number only to have the exact same response. Jokers!

Zego insurance

I had a policy with them from almost one year. I had a financial difficulties because of this I have asked them to cancel my annual policy because of this they had imposed extra 500 pounds on my account and I’m paying instalments now because of this I have asked the staff of Zego to call me before taking any payments instead of calling me they simply cancelled my policy. They have also pointed me like I have to call them. I have already make a call before and requested a call back instead of calling me they simply mentioned we are unable to reach you

Based on the fact and service I had received so far one of the worst customer service and Policy

Poor contact

Poor coordination with Uber eats
I paid Zego for Uber eats
They linked together …however u have to call Zego to link them together
I lost time as I didn’t Know the functionality this way
I list money and time
They refused to return money

One of the worst Insurance company

This is one of the worst insurance company ever. I cannot believe their ridiculous customer service and expensive prices😡🤬 I called them about 5 times and each times waited 1 hour and 30 minutes on the line to be connected after 1 hour and 30 minutes they answered but not speaking and hanged up this has happened many times. Their insurance is so expensive for fast food delivery drivers. These are scammers and criminals, ripping off the poor people. 7 hrs and 30, minutes wasted during one week. Please find somewhere else and go with them. Allow this company to shut down soon.

Disgraceful customer service

I have an existing policy with zego and I have purchased a new car and have been trying to change my vehicle on my policy for over a month and and always bee directed towards the live chat as apparently it’s the only way to get the vehicle changed but every time I log in to the chat there’s no available advisors no matter what time of day or night I keep getting the message to try later but later never comes. Finally after my pleas to them by email they have initially agreed to cooperate and taken all the details of me for the new car and asked me to confirm permissions for them to retrieve my data from Mylicence and MIB before they can change the vehicle and I thought that was it they will actually get it updated at last. But wait for it….. they then decided to direct me to the unattended chat and refused to even adhere to their agreement. The amount of stress this has caused and time wasted by both myself and zego for a simple reg swap in unbelievable. I’ve seen some bad customer service in my lifetime but this just tops it all. Well done zego.

Customer Service

Using Zego as a food inshurance is alright,until you have to use their customer service for any reasons at all,Trying to contact them in their so called opening hours but couldn’t reach to them,The only thing i hear is our customer service line is closed send a bunch of emails,the only reply that i got was that i can sort my problem online which i tried 100 times and that is impossible,I tried to use their life chat also many times only that “we dont have any agents available”probably the worst customer service i ever see,so my point is if u can use another app instead of zego just use some other app.

Customer service unreachable

I was very happy with Zego insurance and with their customer service phone line until that point when my monthly price has almost doubled from 194 to 345 and I couldn’t get hold of any humans in this company (phone numbers are out because there is no one to answer , and email address available in the app turns to be wrong) .
All of this happening with a customer using them on 2 cars for the last 2 years. Obviously things are not going in the good direction with this company.
